Ha! It's not like I live in Argay Terrace, buddy.

lol I’m just messing. My dad grew up in St. John’s and went to Roosevelt. He’d always describe when he played Parkrose in sports as the rich kids

Whaaaat?
Why?
Parkrose HS, in Portland, Oregon.
(edit)..Casey says it's some kind of Portland Pro-Am Game.
But, still....

That's my hood. I had no idea it was going on

whoaa!!! Its official!
He will be in a Blazer uni next year!!!

Platy, ever play in that gym?
I used to go there often and play on Saturday’s in highschool with a church group a couple of friends of mine were in. Then again about a decade ago for a few years with my another friends basketball group. Beer drinking basketball group believe it or not!

Anyhow, now i can say ive shot hoops in the same gym as KD!!! And its the pinnacle of my basketball career!!!
Haha

Nah, I only ever played in the old school.

I played Tennis at Jesuit and I was like WTF , this school sucks when we played there.

Yeah it’s off like Sandy Blvd and 205 right? Can’t be too great unless youre searching for a rub and tug

My parents friends used to own a 49ers themed bar out there. I think that’s my only recollection of hanging in that area.

They built a new school and gym?

ahh man, maybe i didn't play in the same gym. There goes the pinnacle of my basketball career!
I graduated in '96, and then they tore down that school and built a new one. It made sense... that old building peaked with my presence.

Oh okay so you missed the Leron Ellis era by a couple of years.

I saw Ray Blume play there in 77'. Are you sure it didn't peak then?

awww man. 91’ here.
No bragging for either of us….the gym i thought was parkrose was NOT parkrose a buddy took me too a decade or so ago. He reminded me last night it was a church with a gym NEAR parkrose. But he is now in AZ, so we didn't go into many details, but suffice it to say my legacy of playing in the same gym as KD has been crushed!
Stupid facts….

So basically cj, nance, maybe little as well and as many picks as we could offer, might have got us KD?

hmmmmmmmmm
It's good we traded two starters for the amazing "flexibility" we received back at the trade deadline. Nets are looking for those types of win now "overpaid" veteran players for KD. Of course our "flexibility" ended up so much more beneficial than having assets to make an offer for KD.

I was highly critical of Cronin at the trade deadline but Hart, Grant, GP2 > CJ, Roco, Powell, Nance.

We have more assets to trade for Durant now than we would if we never made those trades.

Lots of things have to happen but:

If they can’t find a trade and KD goes back to BK

and

they are an average team

and

Ant explodes this season

I could see a deadline deal happening with Ant and picks.

Are you equating a thirty-plus year-old, overpaid CJ with Brandon Ingram? Little and CJ come nowhere close to matching Ingram's value.
Dooby Eyes is inconsistent. If that trade offer is real, Nawlins just screwed the pooch.

It's near 122nd. And there are a lot of nice neighborhoods in the area. It's the main drags that are so-so.

Maybe he's a big Sam Elliot fan and wanted to see where he went to high school.
