Or is it because he stands during the national anthem?

The current political climate in America has interjected itself into sports. Portland is a passionate political city. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to think that a players political beliefs could affect how this fanbase views them.Big difference between domestic assault and anti-vax. Give me a break.
Its not just anti vax. I dont think his teammates would share his beliefs either. Did you see ant and harts tweets on roe v wade? Basketball seemed to intersect politics there.Big difference between domestic assault and anti-vax. Give me a break.

No, considering they just won the championship lol.Am I wrong to think the Warriors might be better just keeping those players?
He couldn’t though. Durant on the other hand...I don't like Westbrook, but if I thought he could help win a title I would bring him in.
YeppersSGA.
i mean they have a really solid team on paper if everyone is available.Good. I hope they both rot in Brooklyn until their contracts are up.
That's a big "IF"That's gonna be a horrible (and funny) work environment knowing approximately all the good players on that team want out.
But yeah, they're loaded, so if they manage to be adults (lol) Simmons, Durant, and Irving could realistically pull a Kobe/Shaq and win a chip while hating each other/environment.
this is painful.
the sad thing is... it's not "highly unlikely." it's literally impossible.I'm holding out hope for the trade deadline. There's no other way it could be done.

I guess it’s possible we reached out before finalizing with Gary and Durant flatly said no.Mid December when Ant plus maybe Nurk could be traded. But that really risks them patching things up in Brooklyn.
A still think an Eric Bledsoe/Hart/Sharpe/Little/etc boatload of picks offer may have been able to get this trade done. Possibly needed a 3rd team to flip vets to Brooklyn which could've been possible. Maybe only 1-5% likely, maybe it would've been much more likely. But it would've made the Blazers a legit contender.
Instead we got "Hard Cap" on the roster as our 7th guard.
this is painful.
Do KD, Kyrie, and Simmons hate each other? That's gonna be a horrible (and funny) work environment knowing approximately all the good players on that team want out.

From multiple accounts including Woj, KD and Kyrie still want to be teammates. So I highly doubt it based on that. As for Simmons, who knows with him.Do KD, Kyrie, and Simmons hate each other?
You don't have to play for the Nets just because you play for the Nets.Sounds like posturing, I'd be surprised if KD played another game for the Nets.
