The footage of Greg Oden possibly hurting his knee

I thought he said it happened before the game in LA the game before?

Does it really matter how or where or when Oden injured himself? I mean, really. The guy is just too fragile for basketball.

As a Blazer fan, I just have one question: When does the hurting stop?

Never. As a fanbase, we are just too fragile for fandom.

Uhh, yeah it really matters. If you watch that video you will see that being too fragile for basketball isn't the issue. It is being too fragile to gently fart around on a basketball court at wayyyyyyy less than half speed.

Hopefully that video just shows the start of symptoms and not the injury itself, if that is how he injured it he shouldn't take another penny of pro money ever again.

Uh, no, it doesn't.

Half-speed, full-speed, or just sitting on the bench, Oden has proven he can injure himself at any time. He's a master at it. No one has perfected the art of the injury like him.

Uh, yeah it does. People are discussing signing him to a qualifying offer, everyone said that except for the original MF surgery thing that all of his injuries were just bad luck. IF this is the way he hurt his knee it isn't luck unless you count genetics.

I would want to see an MRI of his supposed good knee, the one that he had the first MF on.

I love Greg. I love the Blazers. I was overjoyed when we won the lottery, extremely psyched when we got Greg. That said, it's time to move on. No qualifying offer, please.

This is the video that jay jensen seemed to suggest Greg might have hurt his knee in. You can see after the dunk he comes down a little hard and flexes his left knee. Supposedly the swelling started after this workout.

Of course when it happened matters. That tape is in Portland and isn't when it happened. Jensen said it was at a workout in Los Angeles.

No. Oden didn't land awkwardly.

Sometimes a player will destroy his knee (Webber) on a single play. Oden's condition was likely damage from ongoing wear and tear (degenerative). However it does beg the question: What did Oden's rehab consist of? I'm assuming that he left knee was carefully examined (and perhaps periodically) after the patella broke.
