Me, Mags is mad at me.

Me, Mags is mad at me.

Don't ruin this for me.

I picture mags in his living room, watching the game, going on 15 minute rants about the "haters." He might even break a few things.

"Yeah mother fucker, that's right LA, you hit that shot! In your face haters! You don't know shit haters! Blazers baby!"

Bam! Just got a free ticket to the Portland/GS game from my college. I also get to watch the practice as well. That's going to be a huge game!

Why go? You already have us pegged for a loss.

If we beat Phoenix, are we in the playoffs? Can someone answer this?

All I know is The HCP said we would take over the #4 spot from Houston by the end of the season and a bunch on here claimed he was crazy! At this time tomorrow night, we will only be percentage points behind them FAMS!

Made up like 4.5 or 5 games on them in a week!

I've met you, you are crazy.

But then so am I, that might be why we got along so well.

I love you. :)

Just so we're clear, saying "No win is a given" is much, much different than saying "a loss is a given". That's just silly talk to say we're going to obviously win or obviously lose. There's always going to be a gray area. Apparently that gets lost in translation sometimes, but I know where I stand.

I'll always go to a game hoping for a win, the percentage of that always fluctuates though. Doesn't make me any less of a fan than you or the next person. I've just learned that an expectation could be a resentment waiting to happen, so I just learn to temper them.

It would be hilarious if that is real.

Actually it's pretty damn funny either way.

You been watching my justin tv feed?

I dunno...i don't think any team would feel that _NOT_ having HCA would be a good thing (especially if they HAD it and lost it)...If i'm Houston and I lose HCA to us I'm going to fear every game in the Moda Center cause we are going to ride that momentum pretty hard. This team would love nothing more than to get out of round one...HCA in this series I think makes it 60/40 (at least) for the Home team.

Portland vs. Phoenix
Root For: Trail Blazers
Reason: Trail Blazers continue their chase for Home Court Advantage

Memphis vs. Denver
Root For: Nuggets
Reason: A Trail Blazers win and Grizzlies loss all but assures Portland of finishing ahead of Memphis in the standings

Houston vs. Oklahoma City
Root For: Thunder
Reason: For Portland to catch Houston for the no. 4 seed, this HAS to be a Thunder win.

Golden State vs. Sacramento
Root For: Kings
Reason: Would love a three-game cushion on the Warriors for the No. 5 seed.

Dallas @ Los Angeles Lakers
Root For: Lakers
Reason: The more the Lakers win, the less ping pong balls they earn in the lottery

I'm with NateBishop on not wanting to play Houston in the playoffs. Are we better off dropping to 6th and facing the Clippers?

I think LAC will be gifted a 2nd round berth with whomever they play, I think.

I'd rather face Houston... the lesser of the two evils, IMO.

Portland vs. New Orleans
Root For: Trail Blazers
Reason: Time to forget about Home Court and focus on staying in 5th.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Los Angeles Lakers
Root For: Lakers
Reason: Clippers look like they're solid in the No. 3 spot, so might as well root for the Lakers to win so their chances of getting a Top 3 pick drop a little bit.

Dallas @ Sacramento
Root For: Kings
Reason: It's doubtful the Mavericks could catch the Trail Blazers, but just to be safe, let's pull for a Kings upset.

Houston vs. Denver
Root For: Nuggets
Reason: For those still hoping for HCA, this one's for you.

Memphis @ San Antonio
Root For: Spurs
Reason: A Grizzlies loss pushes the Trail Blazers one step closer to clinching a playoff berth

Golden State vs. Utah
Root For: Jazz
Reason: The No. 5 seed will probably come down to Portland and Golden State's game next Sunday but an upset here sure would help cement the Trail Blazers' playoff position.

Phoenix vs. Oklahoma City
Root For: Thunder
Reason: A Blazer victory combined with a Suns loss and either a Mavericks or Grizzlies loss and Rip City clinches ... I think. Portland is going to make the playoffs, but the road to clinching is very confusing.

Pretty much accepted that we're not getting HCA at this point.

I think it pretty much comes down to either playing Houston or LAC. Still trying to figure out the lesser of two evils here.

I'll take my chance on a Patrick Beverlyless Rocket team.

If Houston is battling injuries, I think we could knock them off.

I think we match up better with LAC, but it all depends on how the refs call either matchup for us.

Yeah Houston without Beverly sounds better on paper...didn't stop them from smacking OKC across the face though >.> No matter who we face its going to be a tough one. I almost wonder if 8th isn't better since we know we match up good with the Spurs and we can make them show their age a bit.
