Will anyone be watching the Miami Heat\Chicago Bulls game tonight? I'm sure Greg Oden will be playing. 5PM on TNT.

Greg Oden's stats predictions for tonight post them here.

10pts 7Rbs 2assts 1blk 25 Mins of play.

What?!

I love Greg more than just about anyone outside his momma, but if he gets 10 minutes I'll be scared for his knee. If he gets 25, he's getting 10 boards.

3 minutes. 2 pts. 2 reb.

5 minutes. 3 pts. 4 rebounds. 2 blocked shots. 5 fouls.

If all he can is 3 minutes he probably shouldn't be playing at all. I realize it's just the first game but at some point he's got to get up to 20-25 minutes. He's had what......2 in a half years now?

I agree, but I was playing along.

I expect DNP-CDs until the All-Star break, then breaking him in slowly, based on how his knees are responding.

Well the I will be really disappointed if he gets DNP's till after the All-Star break. That mean we wont get to see him playing against the Blazers in the RG.

It's been 3 years and nearly 11 months since he's played in a regular season game.

I give Greggers credit for actually sticking around for the second half while he's not in uniform.

Progress

If oden actually does play significant minutes, I suspect he won't ever have foul trouble. I mean he's not in Portland anymore!

He doesn't. Greg is stealing Miami's money. Been 4 years and he still can't play. If they keep him, he'll be a distraction late in the season and playoffs.

random bumps are the devil

Greg Oden scored six points and grabbed two rebounds in nine minutes against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday, his first action since December 2009.

Oden is still a day-to-day project for the Miami Heat but is not worrying about his knees during games anymore.

"Honestly, when I was out there I didn't even think about my knee," Oden said. "It's just a matter if they feel good. I'm not worried what's going to happen. I'm worried about just getting out there and playing.

"It's a little sore, just like the usual. Nothing I can't manage. It always gets sore after a workout or something like that. It's nothing different."

Oden's status will remain uncertain moving forward.

"We're going to stick with the plan," Erik Spoelstra said. "The plan will be the strength training, the core work, the conditioning. If he can't do those, then we won't play him."

This is a topic for the Miami Heat site or an OT topic...Oden hasn't been a Blazer since candy bars were a nickel

Oden's PER in his 8 minutes played: 33.2

His PER the game after playing 8 minutes? It's off the charts. He's back!

Yep--no fouls, no turnovers, never missed a shot, and the opposition didn't score a single point with him on floor. Amazing!!
