We moved in october, and leading up to our move, during packing, I purged a bunch of stuff. Hey, this is a tool that only slices...X. Guess what, so does a knife, that also slices y, z and a!

The kitchen is basically mine in our house. Other people buy me "gadgets " knowing I like to cook, and they eventually make it to goodwill.

@RR7 Stocking stuffer list to Santa....

With the shutdown, we havent gotten rid of stuff in a while, thankfully havent acquired things really either. We used to go to like 92nd and powell to drop off, I think.
I'm looking for a crepe frying pan. My wife through out mine which I used to make great Swedish pancakes one day while I was at work. I got it at a Goodwill or garage sale when I was in college. My wife detests used stuff but I gave her so much grief about the crepe pan that I think she'd accept another used one at this point.

got one for my parents last Christmas and then they got us one this year. Used it a few times always with good results

Did some test runs with some chicken nuggets, worked really well. Thing was only 35 bucks at best buy. Its pretty big too

I ate those things when I was a teenager back in the early 60s. Basically a graham cracker like covering with jam in the middle. I soon got tired of them.
There's nothing like a traditional hot breakfast. My favorites are biscuits and sausage gravy or hash browns and bacon or sausage or ham and with an over easy egg on top. I'd love to have orange juice as my drink but the potassium in it can kill me so I have have a cup of hot chocolate. Once in a while when I have some sort of a breakfast sandwich, I'll have coffee. I always get coffee when I have a McDonald's breakfast sandwich which ain't too often given how fattening and salty everything at McDonald's is.
Here's a tip. Put a few slices of jalapeno in your hash browns to give it a kick.

Agree, the only thing that I dislike more than Poptarts are Hot Pockets.

I've never had a hot pocket. The last time I had a pop tart I must have been 14 or 15. I don't eat that shit. This morning it's gonna be a Southern favorite, pecan waffles with maple syrup and patty sausage preceded by a little hot oatmeal with a couple of slices of peaches. I'll probably have a half a cup of hot chocolate.

Although raised on Southern food, I've never liked grits. I love pretty much everything else but grits taste like cream of wheat to me which I detest,

You nailed it on my breakfast favorites. We won't agree on everything, Lanny, but we can agree on breakfast.

My mother and grandmother absolutely LOVED pickled pigs feet. They would sit at the kitchen table gnawing on those gnarly frickin’ things while almost groaning in pleasure. Disgusting. Those were the only times I questioned my mother’s mental health.......

Got drunk last night and shaved my quarantine beard into a fu manchu
Other than an attempt at a mustache 15 or so years ago, I have never had facial hair in 65 years of life (I only really need to shave every 3 or 4 days). Stuck at home I finally said “fuck it” and let it go. I have a surprisingly (for me) decent goatee going. I call it my “quaran-tee”........

My grandparents would eat those too. There is no way I'd put a hogs foot in my mouth!
