I just thought of another possibility. Maybe Smart did hear someone call him the n word, but it wasn't that guy. And in the heat of the moment he just lashed out at the guy that was yelling at him when he turned around.

MAYBE!!!

Here is another possibility. Smart lied to his coach to try and excuse he douchey behavior, and when no one around the fan confirmed it, he had to apologize for not only lying, but also for shoving a fan. I think Smart should be suspended for the rest of the season, but whatever.

Your posts are so ridiculous.

Smart still not owning up for his actions. What an asshole.

I can tell why he's playing at Okie State. I'm not sure the guy can even read.

Maybe he just heard it in his head and he thought the fan was of the devil

People are so dismissive of marcus smart theories these days, let your mind wander and the truth will reveal itself

Smart retracted his claim of the N-word, and the fan and those around him say he never said that word.

Seems like a super asshole post for believing Marcus Smart when he was lying.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha!

It's absolutely hilarious that you'll call my posts ridiculous when you're freaking out for so reason. You're such a loon.

Smart has backed off his claim of being called the n-word. No fans around Orr corroborate the story. Whoops...

Why was Andrew Wiggins considered the next LeBron?

He's a string bean who reminds me of Tayshaun Prince. :dunno:

Who do you like in this draft, Pops?

What a crapshoot, huh? I think Parker is probably the best player, but he's not a LeBron James. Other than that, Embiid seems to be ideal and the closest thing to the next Anthony Davis.

Wiggins, I just don't know what to thing about him at this point. He's not an NBA franchise player after this season, so he won't go #1.

I don't know if there's anyone on this site like myself who's old enough to remember Bill Russell but I just wanted to take a minute to wish him a very happy 80th birthday. In a day when players act way over the top on every dunk or a block shot. Russell like other players in his day just went about doing there job with class professionalism & dignity.

In a recent interview the man who basically invented the art of the blocked shot. couldn't understand the excitement a player shows when someone blocks a shot 3 rows into the stands. Says Russell, "what did he actually accomplish? the other team STILL has the ball with a chance to score." He continued, "If you're going to block a shot #1 keep the ball on the court so if nothing else YOUR team has a chance to recover it. Or if possible block the shot toward one of your own players." And on the over excitement of dunks he added, " He did what he's being paid to do, he scored points, instead of screaming & pounding your chest, act like you've done it before, get your rear-end back up court & play some defense now."

Happy birthday Bill & thanks for the education.

Jabari Parker is beasting against Syracuse. Looks like the clear #2 pick, if not #1.

Duck has the ball up 1 with 25 seconds left. 1-and-1 for Duke.

Boeheim with a complete meltdown and gets thrown out of the game with 10 seconds left. Way to lose the game for your team, idiot.

not draft related, but a nice respite in any event

Looked like a cut and dry charge to me.

Me too. It wasn't worth this reaction.

Wiggins goes 5-14 tonight against Oklahoma with 5 rebounds, 0 assists, and 0 steals, and ESPN is fawning over him because Kansas beat OU.

I still don't understand the Wiggins hype. He seems like the guy who was awesome younger, and then his peers started growing and even got more physically mature than him. I'm not sure I'd spend the #3 pick on him.

I've gotta agree, I just don't see it either. I mean he'll probably go top 5 & that's not even a guarantee anymore.

Thoughts on McDermott?

He's a smart player. Finds crafty ways to score. I'm not sure he'll be more than a end of the rotation player in the NBA, though.

Hopefully he ends up a Laker.

I like his game & I think he'll eventually make an impact.

Adrien Payne probably just worked himself into the top 10 with a performance for the ages.

Eh, if he comes out and looks like crap the next game and perhaps beyond people could write it off as an enigma. He's always shown flashes. Hell of a game though and if he strings a good tournament together I think he'll asbolutely be a lotto pick.

I hope he doesn't though because I want my Dubs to buy a late 1st and take him!

have not seen Wiggins play but what you describe reminds me of the guy Minny drafted - Shabazz

Isaiah Austin has a glass eye. He kept it a secret until this past January.

His size and jumpshot made him intriguing. But this will obviously drop his stock.

Last year he was a projected top-10 pick and now both sites have him in the 40's.

Iirc he was hit in the eye with a baseball during his little league years.

Dakari Johnson helped his stock as much as anyone so far.

He's a legit center prospect.

That eye looks to be about as secret as Superman wearing Clark Kent glasses. Nobody ever wondered about it? It's exceptional that he was able to perform at a high level while having no depth perception, but NOBODY figured out which eye wasn't focusing on them?

Yeah that is pretty lame that no one noticed. That's like saying that you didn't notice that Shaq was tall.

Sim Bhullar declared for the draft today.

I say we trade/buy into the draft and put this guy on the Roy Hibbert conditioning plan.

Ha Seung-Jin sucked but he was fun to have around!
