I was a season ticket holder, at the game as well. I remember being annoyed, because it was a day game, we had to find a babysitter for our newish kid at the time, and it was like the first super nice day of the year. Like 70+ degree nice after lots of rain. And we're getting our asses kicked. And I can see the sun outside on the concourse, thinking wtf are we doing inside on this nice day, watching our team lose by 20. Had debated leaving early for the nice weather, but I never leave games early. Really glad I didn't!!

Similar. I was at A's playoff game. They were down three runs going into 9th inning. Some people left. A's scored four runs bottom of the 9th. Total bedlam, strangers hugging, cheering until we were hoarse.
