Portland goes to Spain, where the rain stays mainly on the plain. Iyana Martin Carrion. Honestly don't know about her. I was hoping for Raven Johnson.

Washington with another pick and another UCLA player, Angela Dukalic. In yes Black, bare shoulders and sequins.
Indiana selected Raven Johnson, Defensive Player of the Year from South Carolina. Odd jacket in plaid, stripes, stars, checks.
Johnson in backless black dress and stole.
Washington again. Cotie McMahon from Mississippi. Tailored burgundy minidress. Suit jacket with no skirt or pants and tie. Only second non fem.
Disappointed couldn't do fashion critique of Portland pick.

Madina Okot from South Carolina to Atlanta. Originally from Kenya. Red pinstripe suit.
Taina Mair from Duke to Seattle.

Final pick of first round to Connecticut. Giana Kneepkens from UCLA. Breaks the mold. White halter dress. Five UCLA players. A third of first round. Compared to Luka Doncic.

Am I the only one seeing a trend here. Are we only picking the pretty one for our roster or can they actually play?

I don't know if Fire pick is pretty because she isn't there. She can play but might not come over for a year. An expansion team can afford to be patient.

Portland gets another Spaniard, Freida Buhner. German name but Spanish.
Blockbuster trade, Flau'jae Johnson to Seattle for Marta Suarez and future pick. Steal for Seattle.
UCLA becomes first school to have six players drafted same year.

Don't know how they scouted international players. Plenty of great players available they didn't take. Sure fire stars no pun intended.

The Tank is on!
The team will be lucky to win 10 games. Hopefully Ju Ju recovers fully from her devastating injury. Time to Rhyme for Portland getting some good Ju Ju next spring and go back to back the following year with generational UConn's Sarah Strong to have a shot in the future!
