I don't think the Braves actually count. This is the best streak they've had since being the Clippers. I'm wondering if they surpass the Lakers as the team in L.A. that every free-agent wants to play for. This maybe the case with Buss calling the shots. He is the new Al Davis of Basketball.

What about the New Orleans -> Utah Jazz, Vancouver -> Memphis Grizzlies, Minneapolis -> Los Angeles Lakers? Just because the ownership had the good sense to change the team name to something appropriate to the new location doesn't void the franchises previous results/records.
