@KBergCBS: Eight points (4-for-5 shooting), three assists for Jeremy Lin in first quarter here at MSG. Knicks lead Rockets 31-29.

I'm a fan of the game not just the Blazers. Thought it would be cool to have one place to go to to get the latest info. My bad you crackerass monkey!

I wasn't saying it's bad, I don't mind at all. I was just saying you'd probably have a lot less posts if you combined some of them.

Wow, the return of Linsanity! Lin sure likes playing on the big stage. I bet Spike Lee is shitting his pants right now. Rockets up on the Knicks by 23 with 8:30 left. Lin with 20 points and 8 assists on 8-14 shooting and +24 for the game.

Damn! Blake Griffin just swatted Singler on one end and threw down a sick alley oop on the other. As much as I want to hate him, he just makes spectacular plays night in and night out.

Why so serious? Relax, bro.

I'm just noticing how many games the Spurs have played.

They're ahead of the Grizz in the standings, even they have one more loss (Grizz: 16-6, Spurs: 19-7), and the Spurs play again tomorrow.

Great homecoming for Lin! Jeremy Lin with 22 points, eight assists..........Knicks fall to 0-2 vs Rockets, are 18-4 vs rest of NBA

The @okcthunder have won 11 straight.-- when franchise was Supersonics, they had 3 win streaks that long- last one in 1996-97

HCP, I don't twitter so I, for one, appreciate the little tidbits of NBA info.
Thanks.

espn - @LAClippers: won 10 straight games, one shy of FRANCHISE record of 11 straight set by 1974-75 Buffalo Braves

I don't think the Braves actually count. This is the best streak they've had since being the Clippers. I'm wondering if they surpass the Lakers as the team in L.A. that every free-agent wants to play for. This maybe the case with Buss calling the shots. He is the new Al Davis of Basketball.

Why not? Same team, different city. Does that mean their years in San Diego don't count either?

What about the New Orleans -> Utah Jazz, Vancouver -> Memphis Grizzlies, Minneapolis -> Los Angeles Lakers? Just because the ownership had the good sense to change the team name to something appropriate to the new location doesn't void the franchises previous results/records. I wish more teams would follow suit when they move. Seriously, Jazz in Utah??? Grizzlies in Memphis??? Right.

The New York Knicks have assigned Amar’e Stoudemire to the Erie BayHawks, the Knicks’ NBA Development League affiliate.

LeBron James has scored 20 in all 21 games. Last player to score 20 in each of team's 1st 22 games was Karl Malone in 1989-90.

The Heat lead the Timberwolves by 3 at half despite being outrebounding 28-10 (Kevin Love has 4 more rebounds than the Heat do)

Tim Duncan's line so far -

31 pts, 18 rbs, 6 asts, 2 stls, 5 blks

The man is 36 years old, playing in his 16th NBA season. Unbelievable...

A couple years ago people were saying he was washed up.
