Customers always right!

Ever give customer service?

The customer is wrong more often than not.

However you have to treat them like they're paying your bills.

Even if they act dickly.

Sports is a different animal. There are rules for sportsmanship and a code of conduct.

Fanatics from all stripes hurl amazing things at refs and players.

I speak from experience.

Paying admission doesn't give you carte blanche.

I don't see anything racially driven here.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I think what Russ said was over the top. There was an eloquent way to clown that moron and Russ should've found it. He had a chance to own the narrative and didn't take advantage of that chance.

The fact is, regardless of what anyone says, black people represent our entire race wherever we go. How one of us acts is a reflection on us as a whole. Russ made us (black folk) look bad IMHO.

How the guy can call Westbrook classless after he said something to him that employed so little class IMO is asinine.
Thanks for the clarification and perspective.

I was curious about that. End of clock shots don't seem to be going down this year but I didn't realize it was that poor of a percentage. Even more, that is why I dislike the 1-4 ISO out of a timeout or as a play call at the end of a quarter/game.

0.9 was incredible but that was a long time ago and unfortunately recently, there haven't been many successes. I wonder what Dame would say about that stat @ThePosterFormerlyKnownAsTheHCP ?

If we win tonight, I’ll show ‘em.

agree 100%
Customer always right is an old cliché.
I used to be a District Sales & Service Manger for Western US & Canada, and I know customers of all types/categories can be real finicky and many times wrong, however whoever is representing (selling) them should never threaten and verbally abuse them. I don't have a problem with a rep disagreeing and even telling the customer to take his business elsewhere if they cross the line.
With this kind of stuff ending up on the social networks with young people exposed to it, id rather the lesson taught by the athlete, be having the ref get involved and have the fans booted. I understand maybe an athlete telling a close fan to shut up and keep to yourself or Im having you booted.

well, Westbrook received a $25,000 fine as predicted

but the fan who got into it with Westbrook has been banned for life from games in Utah. Westbrook was out of line but it sure seems like the fan was worse

Although I think players would rather pay a fine than be suspended for a game or so, Im good with it. Im sure the fan was the instigator for him to be banned for life!
I don't like the lingo WB used though. It crossed the line.

So Quick's article implies LMA now knows he made a mistake, and per his quote, would like to come back here at some point. To that I say 'fuck off Lamarcus'.
Fuck Off Lamarcus is easy to say but if he came back this team would be a contender without question. Not that i disagree with the sentiment at all.

Well they forfeit a game check if they're suspended, so he'd lose more than $25K by being suspended.

I'm not condoning what Westbrook did. Frankly, I think he did a disservice to black people as a whole with his threats.

C’mon, you are letting your hate for him as a person, block your common sense. You give us a player that can create his own shot in the post the way he can and we are dominating teams.

We already have one. And he doesn't shoot soft ass fadeaways as a go to move. TT is a defensive liability. How the Hell is Aminu a better post defender? Wait, I know, It's because TT IS SOFT.

Ha Ha Ha.... Aminu

Lol I disagree.

I hope that ends soon. He's one friking guy.

I ain't taking the blame for something some other dude does and neither should anyone else.

As I’ve already posted in some thread, Westbrook was worse at Blazers game. He went 4 rows into the stands to yell at a fan. But it wasn’t caught by refs or on film so no one is talking about it. It was much worse than what he did in Utah. If the league saw it, he’d be suspended at least 5 games.
