Ibaka will get about 5-7 game suspension there

At leaat. He grabbed him round the neck and threw punches. Chriss must have said some nasty shit

probably a game

on the other hand, Utah fans have a pretty bad reputation so I'm sure there was plenty of provocation

Should be used to it as a player. You ignore that shit. You don't tell some dude your gonna beat him and his wife up.

sure...but for all we know, the guy and his wife could have been screaming some shit at RW before he said that. Doesn't excuse it and players should not engage with fans during the game...but they do all the time. Most times it's good natured

Westbrook is a thug and i still cannot believe he was not thrown out of the Blazers game last week and if this does not make the NBA do something like suspend him for 2 or 3 games then nothing will and if they do not then Adam Silver you are a complete joke.

I think CC is right and it will probably be a steep fine rather than a suspension. Suspending a key player with all of the playoff ramifications is a big step; and Utah fans have really gone after Westbrook before, so there's history on both sides. The league will know that and the fact that 5 fans got 'warnings' might mitigate the circumstances a bit

Uh oh, this is a tweet from last year from the guy who got into it with Russ tonight.

Anybody in the crowd who insults a player directly on the floor is trash. I don't care who the player is.

Maybe I should post this on the OT page..... This is the guy in the camo hat that got into it with him.

So... From my perspective what he said to him didnt really seem that bad. I’d probably just laugh and silently know the guys an idiot and not worth my time.

I kind of want to hear from @dviss1 or HCP, or other minorities though. Do you guys think that was racially driven, a veiled way of dehumanizing a Black guy? Because I can kind of see that.

I still think RW should know he’s the guy in the room with the most to lose just get a ref to boot them from the game, but Id be willing to have some dialogue in the off topic forum about it!

Man, talking shit on the court is part of the game. So between players it is what it is, but to start threatening fans, that's too much. I'm still trying to figure out how telling him to get down on his knees is "racial"......that seems like more of a "sexual" thing if you ask me.

He is out of line on this one. I don't think fans can say whatever they want, but Westbrook was WAY wrong tonight.

I mean, the other night he was yelling into the crowd, "Game over! Get the fuck outta' here, go home!" while waving bye bye to fans. That might be rude, but he's the villain, so that didn't bug me much.

So Im white (mostly German and Scottish and Native American (But raised as a white kid, and only like an 8th NA), so Im just trying to find the line of being compassionate about race. I took that comment as sexual too, but slaves were told to get on their hands and knees, and they were treated literally like dogs and filth, and I guess thats why I was asking the question. Can telling a Black guy get on your knees like that be taken as are you saying Im less human and more animal? I dont know Im not Black, but I do know I appreciate conversations Ive had with Dviss and others helping me to understand why they take somethings as racism that I wouldnt think of that way. Hope that makes sense.

For the record I think RW is a piece of work in a lot of ways. He trash talks 24/7 and. who knows what crap spews out of his mouth and saying you’re gonna beat up some dudes wife thats pretty screwed up. Maybe this should be in OT.

I see what you're saying. Maybe that was the guy was referencing. I would take that more as sexual, but thats me. I'm half Mexican and half Polish/German. Don't look Mexican, but that's the side that raised me. I try to use my half minority whenever possible to get ahead in this blond haired blue eyed devil led world! #VivaLaRevolutionFAMS

Now watch, Mitchell is going to get blasted for not stepping up and saying something about this. That tweet is worse than him not talking about it.
