It was more like a woman Marine with 15 years in the infantry under her belt would look like.
 
My second shot didn't feel much different than the first shot except I was wiped out from dialysis, came home and took a nap. After my nap, my two hips were a little sore just the same as they always get sore from a slight flare up of my arthritis. It's now after midnight and all pain is gone. Now, just wait 3 weeks and I'm 95% immune.

An individual in California who tested positive for COVID-19 in late December and was vaccinated Thursday died several hours after receiving the shot, the Placer County Sheriff's office announced Saturday.

"There are multiple local, state, and federal agencies actively investigating this case; any reports surrounding the cause of death are premature, pending the outcome of the investigation," the sheriff's office said.

It is unclear if the individual received the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine.

Reporting the news. Maybe its connected, maybe not. Its important to not ignore it rather than trivialize this death.

All 3 of my family and friends who died last weekend because of this virus I'm quite sure would have rather taken a chance on a vaccine shot.

Still doesn't change the fact this guy died. Its important to figure out why, for everyone's safety
 
I'm quite sure if I dug, I'd fine MANY articles of people who have died from the common flu shot. We don't this type of bullshit being put out there as scare tactics.

Of course. But why an article from FOX news about this ONE guy? Instead of the 28,000 people who died last week who hadn't got the shot? that's all I'm saying.

The more we know, the better the vaccines will be adjusted in the future. We are still learning about the COVID vaccines, its still being studied.

Sure, it'd be great if the vaccines were distributed better. Its pretty bungled. And there is still a lot of distrust from many. But the line of people wanting it is larger

Of course they are still being studied but the virus is already raging out of control.

And we are currently administering vaccines by the tens of millions already. So we're making forward progress.

The more vaccines administered, the more data we'll have, and we'll see how it works in reducing the epidemic. When outliers occur, bad batches, etc, its still important to notate those and not just ignore them like many want to, so we could see what we're doing wrong.
 
So I saw something on Twitter saying to sign up for your vaccination on this past Saturday.
It was through something called the Oregon Health Authority’s “Get Vaccinated Oregon” tool. Signed up to see if I was eligible. After about 20 questions or so, they said I wasn’t, which is what I expected, but at least I was in the system.
I have received 2 emails since saying I was eligible, but one was at a hospital in Salem, and another in Grants Pass.
Not that big of a deal to me to travel for it, so I declined.
But today I received an email saying I was eligible to book an appointment starting this weekend at the convention center here in town. Done and done!
Go in for mine Monday at 6pm. Looks like I’m getting the Phizer vaccine. Don’t really know what that means, but looking forward to doing this.
My wife is signing up tonight!
