Stern: Our last position anticipated 50-50 so we've got lots of things to talk about.
 
David Stern: "We've got lots of things to talk about. But I don't want to talk about our current state of mind or where exactly we are."
 
Silver: The competitive issues are independent of the economic issues.
 
Stern: League did not drop proposal back to 47 percent, won't do so until after current negotiating session ends.
 
Stern says #NBA will drop offer and go to "reset" if/when negotiations that started Wednesday end.
 
I don't see how a deal is made unless the players take the deal

I just don't think the owners are going to back off their system issues.
 
Stern: We weren't going to stop in the middle. We're trying to demonstrate our good faith...
 
Stern: Every day that we lose another game it just enhances the case to make a deal and causes both sides to recognize the damage.
 
Stern: "It was understanding going in that at end of .the session, whether it ends today or tomorrow, that's when our offer reverts."
 
David Stern: "We're trying to see if there's (something) we can go back to our respective sides with."
 
Stern: We're not failing and we're not succeeding.
 
Stern: there are many issues of importance. It behooves us to make sure all those issues are put on the table

Fisher: We won't be able to elaborate on any details or any significant progress.

Fisher on 50-50: What we stated yesterday was an openness and a willingness to come off of our number.
 
Derek Fisher: If we continue to make concessions on BRI split, they're should be more (concessions) from NBA on the system.
 
Fisher: Not as much as we'd like ( re: NBA being receptive to union's willingness to make economic move).
 
Fisher: Obviously, we'd have a deal done if the right flexibility was being shown.
 
Hunter: I think there was enough give and take on both sides to warrant us coming back tomorrow.
 
Derek Fisher: Can't characterize whether (owners) showed flexibility or not. Fact we don't have deal shows still a lot of work to be done.
 
Fisher: "We're going to meet again tomorrow to give it our best effort, but we don't know if it will be enough."

Hunter says 53-47 rollback was not brought up during Wednesday's meeting.
 
lol. WTF is Mo Evans doing here? All he ever does at these PCs is smile ear to ear at every question.
