Couldn't that be read 2 different ways:

does she not ignore Nate even though he is an attention seeking troll who doesn't blah blah blah
or
does she not ignore Nate because he isn't an attention seeking troll . . .

It was written in a way that seemed like she was saying she didn't ignore me, even though I'm an attention seeking troll ass, ground, hole, etc etc etc.

I think your missing the big picture Nate is conveying. He isn't necessarily saying LeBron gets a pass regarding his turnovers, but his overall offensive and defensive production on the floor severely outweighs how many turnovers he has per game. Turnovers are essentially no more than a shoulder shrug in his case.

Comparing turnovers between Mo and Lebron is in Mo's favor has I'm sure LeBron touches the ball much more than Mo every game. Thus, creating more possible turnovers committed by LeBron.

Nate did type that LeBron gets a pass. And I see the big picture, which is why I don't complain about Mo every day.

I didn't make the comparison, just pointing to the kind of logic that leads Nate to continue to make negative comments about Mo every day. Just an observation. Why continue rather than just accept that Mo is a $2.6 mil room exception, back up PG, that is the best possible option Portland could have right now, as evidence of their amazing team play and team success.

Nate did type and imply that LeBron gets a pass. LeBron gets paid 10 times what Mo gets paid, because Mo isn't as good as LeBron. Be happy with what you've got, is my moral to this story.

She didn't ignore me because she CAN'T ignore me. I'm a mod. You guys are stuck with my opinions. :MARIS61:

Did you just intimate that BF is PapaG part 2? Oh my--now that's a personal attack! :ghoti:

I read it the first way. Perception is realty, after all.

Nope. Let me be perfectly clear. I think you do know your ass from a hole in the ground. I do not think you are a troll. I do read what you type and agree with you sometimes. And I'm telling you that I disagree with you about Mo and am suggesting you should start to accept this team and the players for what they are, and curtail the Mo slights to maybe 1 or 2 a week instead of every day. ;)

quick, someone blame Obama!

Interesting. I was totally seeing the second. Maybe that post is like a perfect personality test. If you think that BF thinks Nate is an attention-seeking troll, then you're a glass-half empty pessimist. If you think that BF thinks that Nate knows his ass from a hole in the ground, then you're a silver-lining seeing optimist.

I win!!

Except I didn't' bring up LeBron in the first place. I'm merely saying that LeBron is not a good comparison because he's the best player in the NBA, so if he averages a lot of turnovers, he gets a pass. Mo Williams is a bench scrub, so he does not get a pass for averaging a lot of turnovers.

Also, I have a daily checklist of things to do.

1) Get out of bed

2) Brush teeth

3) Take shower

4) Get dressed

5) Make coffee

6) Complain about Mo Williams

Clearly. lol I would submit that #6 is also 1a, 2a, 3a, and 4a.

You figured it out. You're so smart. The creator of this test must be a GD genius.

lol. I read it the first way too. But I only skimmed it until you reposted it which made me read it 10x trying to figure it out. Thanks PP, just what I wanted, to read that damn sentence over and over trying to figure it out. :)

It's actually a really smart way to insult someone.... phrase it so that it could be interpreted in any number of ways. Plausibly deniability.

Not only could it be a smart way to insult someone . . . she probably has a dozen posters reading it over and over trying to figure it out. I'm going to go to bed tonight with "Nate, attention seeking troll, ass, hole, ground and basketball" embedded in my damn thoughts . . .

Man, even the Stampede lose when HCP makes the game threads.

You could always rearrange them. "Nate seeking troll asshole attention to ground basketball..." Wait, who do I think he is, Kingspeed?

I'm the guy who got bored watching the D league game and took exception to the criticism of Mo. I used LeBron as an example. I could've used Kobe, Steve Nash, or any number of scorers who turn the ball over more than Mo.. I see value in Mo's assist improvement and how he affects the tempo of the game. It was not a comparison of LeBron and Mo...it was an example of how great players take risks and sometimes that translates to turnovers. Yup, I usually cheer for the underdog in the discussion and always cheer for the guy who plays for Portland. I think Mo is a fantastic 6 man for this team. Is he the league MVP? nah...never even suggested that

Blazer Fanatic is tough and attacks like a man, yet is not a manhater. She's so tough that you don't dare flirt. She is the only kind of woman who will survive on this board. As we saw a few months ago, the fawning type can't survive here. BF earns her pay. I'm sure she dislikes my critiquing players, but it's more important to me to have a woman on board.

So treat her like a man and let the fights begin. I like her presence.

And my point is that people overlook LeBron's turnovers because the dude is shooting just a hair under 60% from the field, is averaging 25, 6, and 7, and is probably going to take home the MVP again. I am less likely to overlook turnovers from Mo because he is shooting 40% from the field and he makes bad decisions with the ball. If he was shooting 60%, or even 46%, I would give a rats ass how many turnovers he was giving up.

That wasn't a game, that was a floor full of heroes in action.
McCollum was just another chucker among the many.

lol?

13 points off 6-13 shooting (46%)
6 boards
6 assists
2 steals
17 minutes

Chucker?

Geez you give him pretty high priority. I only bitch about him when I see him play. When KGW or TNT have the game.
