In the future, if someone posts something that offends you, click the "report" link that's at the bottom of every post. It will let the mods know there is a potential problem and is much more effective than complaining about it in a game thread that is several pages long.

Sadly my devotion and loyalty was to the paycheck. Anyone who loves working with sewage needs to have their head examined. So I worked one helluva lot of days in my life. But it's definitely a recession proof profession........and I was grateful for the job. :smiley-muha:

Perhaps it was the paragraph long rant calling him out immediately preceding your one sentence "joke" that made your intent at humor less than obvious?

Ahhhh the double standard continues. I make an obvious joke calling myself mr fairweather. He makes "jokes" that aren't obvious and everybody eats that shit up. I see

I'm not sure why you feel like such a victim here. I've given him much more shit in this thread than I've given you. Doesn't sound like a double standard to me. In fact, I gave you some solid advice on how to deal with these issues in the future.

I don't feel like a victim I just feel like people aren't truly calling it how it is. I am just talking, I am not reacting. I don't care. Yeah it's a joke alright, I was simply pointing out something. I know how to deal with these issues, just not used to people like this who just talk shit and expect you to believe it's a joke. Usually the people I interact with are closer to you or know you to some extent before giving you shit and when they do, it sounds like a joke. It doesn't sound like a real insult. That was my whole point. You can't continue to tell people who don't know this dude that "hey man it's just a joke, he is joking". If you guys gotta say it for him, that means he is doing a terrible job of making it a joke. I am all for jokes, trust me but when the shit isn't funny, that's when it gets annoying. People try too hard. On the internet people talk. That was my first assumption of this dude. The joke I put out was very fucking poor but it was straight in your face as a joke. "Hey yeah I am mr fairweather". Dumb joke. Not funny but I made it obvious it was a joke. I don't see how this is hard to understand

And like I already posted, if you have a problem with what someone posts about you, use the fucking report mechanism. That's what it's there for.

Your constant, repeated rehashing of him calling you a fair weather fan just calls further attention to the fact that he called you a fair weather fan. Not sure why you'd want that. He's let it go and moved on. Maybe you should too.
