I hope Neil pulls a move out of freaking left field.

Chandler's advanced numbers are so mediocre.
They are almost identical to Afflalo's too.

I don't understand why people are wanting Afflalo, but are so cold towards Chandler. Chandler has more size (allowing Batum to play the 2 on occasion) and takes about 40% of his shots within 10-feet of the basket (ie- he attacks the basket) which is something this team needs.

Because Chandler has an injury history and Afflalo is just a better all around player. Chandler may be more versatile but Afflalo is more reliable imo.

Every time Trob tweets something i think he has been traded.

After reading what Neil Olshey said in his interview with Barrett and Rice i am feeling very positive there will NOT be a trade before the deadline. He is not going to trade a starter and he will only look for a player that could impact the team well off the bench better than those they have now. At this point there just is not a player that fits into the plan he is going with. They are either too expensive or would demand too many minutes.
Personally i don't think all the starters are untouchable but i don't make the decisions. Of course my question at this point would be Frenchy. But you ain't gonna get much for him playing at this level for what he costs.
This summer will be interesting at any rate.....

Without Nico, we don't beat the Rockets on the road last game. Come playoff time I predict there will be some Nico crow thread posted. He makes the game easier for Rolo and Freeland. Kaman can't handle his no look passes. Yeah, he's not shooting well but he does other things that make our shooters succeed. I think our starting core in untouchable. With the exception of Lamarcus and maybe Rolo before injury, every starter has had a slump or been injured. The thing I love about Olshey is that he has the big picture in mind and isn't shuffling the deck over and over. Stability is what the Spurs live by and I think the Blazers are following the example

Portland Trail Blazers: Not really sure on what the idea is here. Portland's got Chris Kaman off the bench and even if the Thomas Robinson ship has sailed once more, this doesn't really give them something they super need. They are in much bigger need of help on the wing. However, if they pull off a trade for Wilson Chandler, sending Robinson out in the process, and add Stoudemire to take Robinson's minutes, that's an upgrade. Chris Kaman and Amar'e Stoudemire would be a phenomenal frontcourt combination... in 2008.

Twitter scuttlebutt:

*Phoenix wants a first-rounder for Dragic.

*Enes Kanter wants out

Even with Dragic the Rockets aren't going anywhere with that pathetic frontcourt.

Houston doesn't have the assets to even bring him in. They have the Pelicans pick but other than that... No one wants their shitty bench players to match salary.

But somehow the Rockets will be in discussions.

I wonder if Gerald green is available. I'd give up a 1 for him.

I think we'll have another low key, last second Eric Maynor type deal for a sg/sf at about his level.
