I agree that OKC did very well. Augustin is a better backup PG than Reggie Jackson, and they now have a killer low post scorer (Kanter) which was a weakness for them. Plus they've got shooters - Singler in particular is a very useful role player.
The thing I'm most pissed off about, though, is that Prigioni went to the Rockets. He is an awesome backup PG (even if he's old as dirt) and I can see him making their second unit a lot better. I wish we could've picked him up. He's better than Blake in almost all respects.

Reggie Jackson's stats flatter him. He hogged all the shots and OKC were atrocious when he was playing big minutes. I gan see him and Stan Van Gundy seriously knocking heads.

Sam Hinkie is slowly working his way towards having zero players but every draft pick in an entire draft. Players only disappoint but pure potential NEVER does.

Prigioni is garbage dude, Blake is way better especially at defense.

Kenyon Martin will be waived by the bucks. I'd love to sign him. Always liked his toughness

What a day! Has the record for most trades in a day been blown out of the water!? I don't remember anything like this!

Well, I was advocating for the Blazers to get Afflalo instead of Chandler, and some people here said we needed Chandler more, but it looks like Neil agreed with me! Alonzo Gee is a nice bonus too. Mike Rice loves to say his name!

I didn't get that either? Knight must have asked for a trade you'd think
I can only assume that they got Plumlee to fill the hole created by Sanders' departure, and felt that the downgrade from Knight to MCW was worth it.

Personally, I disagree.

Jeff Swartz is Jason Kidd's agent, also the agent for MCW...I think the move was made as a favor with an eye towards future moves down the line.

OKC will be scary in the playoffs....

IDK they got more role players sure. but when the game slows down in the playoffs they're still an ISO team that can't get easy buckets. Kanter I don't believe is the immediate answer.

Well Chicago had an ISO team that won 6 titles. Of course Durant isn't Jordan, but he's pretty fucking good

Hearing from @THENBACENTRAL that Portland didn't get the papers submitted by 12 EST.

Why the hell did the T-Wolves move an actual good player for 30 games of reunion tour KG?! KAHN?!?!?!?!

LOL @ Flip Saunders. What a joke. Why does he still have a job in the NBA?

Flip Saunders is approaching Isaiah Thomas levels of post-playing career stupidity. Okay, that might be an overstatement. But Flip sucks as a coach and a GM, and clearly he's just as bad at both when trying to do them at the same time. GTFO of the NBA, Flip!

Yeah. It's crazy. How the heck are all these players supposed to gell in 30 games. Blazers may have an advantage there.

Damn! OKC gave up Jackson and garbage and landed a lot of nice assets.

Kanter can't defend but he's a legit post-scorer. Utah was looking for a prospect and a first-rounder and they settled for that?!

I like their PF/C depth.

PF: Ibaka/McGary
C: Adams/Kanter

Houston landed McDaniels for garbage. Though, he has crashed back down to earth after a few solid first few months in the league - numbers are down across the board.

Don't forget Nick Collison.

There's a noticeable lack of melanin in their front line rotation. Ours too, for that matter...

Looking again, I think Phoenix actually did OK today. Basically, they've swapped Dragic for Knight (upgrade), Thomas for Thornton (a legit 2 off their bench), and 1 Laker pick for 2 Heat picks. All in all, I think they're probably better now, certainly more balanced, and absolutely still in it for the 8 spot. Plus, once they waive Salmons and Marshall (as they're expected to do), they'll have a couple open spots for buyout guys (like perhaps TRob).

I don't know how you can consider losing Dragic for Knight an "Upgrade". Dragic was 3rd team all-NBA last year. Although if you assume Phoenix was going to lose him in FA, then at least they got Knight for a Dragic rental I suppose.

I just want to reiterate how good OKC was. Just look at PER this year. Afflalo is like at 11 (under average NBA player metrics). They gave up Reggie Jackson, who's about average ~16, for Augustin who's about the same, and Kanter who's about the same. I REALLY like what OKC did, I think it makes them a much deeper, more balanced team with another solid big, another wing shooter, and a good backup PG. I'm just curious which two players they end up cutting since they don't have the roster space.

Thomas Robinson was bought out...we can't resign him I don't think...or am I wrong?

Yeah, can't say I agree that Knight is an upgrade over Dragic.

I actually think Milwaukee did fine. Knight is a fine player, but he is going to get paid this summer somewhere. Probably much more than you normally would want to spend on a B-list player. MCW can't shoot, but he can do some of the other things pretty well and he is on his rookie deal two more years. The Bucks have Parker coming back who can score next year and I'm looking forward to seeing MCW set him up. The Bucks are a great spot for MCW too. Jason Kidd as coach, who couldn't shoot either to start his career, will be great for MCW's development.
