I liken this to us going to Channing Frye for our final five shots of the game.
That would be awesome.

So he's played hundreds of NBA games, including huge Finals games, and this is when the pressure finally crushed him?![]()
Is it dawning on anybody else just how amazing Brandon's playmaking and decision making is at the end of games after watching the Bulls terrible execution?
I feel an and 1 coming.
No KG this time though. The pressure is all on Paul.
That would be awesome.

me said:I think a player of Pierce's caliber (claiming he was the best player inthe world after last year), with the (playoff - home) game on the line needs to make both of those free throws.
If not, I would consider it choking I suppose. IDK, because you can make arguements like Minstrel did. nobody makes them all... but I think in a clutch situation, especially at the FT line with the game on the line from a player like Pierce, you gotta make that.
For the same reason they went to Glen Davis earlier in the game.why the fuck did they go to Ray Allen?
He's faced that basically every year of his career, though, prior to Allen and KG showing up.And they won playoff games with him as the focal point.
I didn't say he is a choker, my friend. but that he choked in the clutch. Tough to tell if he did, but I think this is what I would consider choking.
I don't know.... has Pierce won playoff games without KG or Antoine Walker when he was good?
great fucking way to start the playoffs
You aware that we gave as many gifts to Bulls as the refs gave to us. Rondo taking multiple bad gambles, and the team opting for Ray Allen and Glen Davis over Pierce on two occasions.Refs and Stern conversation after the game...
Stern: WTF Happened there?!?! Idiots!
Refs: We tried, sir. We are so sorry. We even tried to give them the game in regulation and decide it by ourselves but Paul couldn't knock down the free throw. Anything after that would have been too apparent
Stern: I don't care! If people think we are cheating hopefully we will get more ratings! Boston cannot lose in the 1st round! Do I make myself clear!
Refs: Yes sir... won't happen again.
Do the fans in Cleveland realize this is a playoff game?
Right, I just don't think that makes sense. You can't MAKE shots go down. If you could, you'd hit every single one. Every player is limited by their abilities, and no one has the ability to hit every shot. I don't think it makes sense that an elite player "has to make every free throw in clutch situations." All they can do is shoot them at their best ability...which is like 80-85%.
