The woman who spoke last night not only believes her adopted biracial don is more likely to be a criminal than her white sons (like Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer, Dylan Roof, Timothy McVeigh), she also opposes women's suffrage. Instead of one person one vote, she calls for one household one vote and in "godly" households the husband casts the vote. I don't know if households with no husband get a vote, or what households with two husbands do, but then, they aren't godly. No word on whether she plans to vote for Trump or just let her husband do so.

Where do they find these people?

Hold on, and I'm being 100% serious here, she actually advocated "one household one vote"?

If that is true, and she said that and the GOP knew she'd say that, wtf is wrong with the GOP!?

Don't know if she said it last night as I have not seen transcript but that is her stated position.

Campaign and White House officials literally laughed at criticism of secretary of state making convention speech, and from foreign country, as well as illegal use of White House for conversation. Mark Meadowes said Hatch Act didn't matter since Trumps are "a royal family". I thought this was America.

Tricia was Caprica 6 on Battlestar Galactica.

It's comforting to know that some women in the distant future will still have nice boobs.

I watched the A's. They won 10-3.

I'm sure you did. Glad you could keep up with both so you could provide relevant feedback here. You probably put your cat up to some of it.

That's what working so many years for an organization (Planned Parenthood) started by that devout racist will do to one's mind. I'll be praying for Abby on the voting thing.

I'm really not sure you, of all people, should be cracking on someone for potentially not providing relevant feedback here. I mean seriously, some of your posts contain some of the most uninformed takes possible.

Many of them don't.

Nontheless, I was relating to her earlier posts of rather watching the A's play as opposed to the so-called nonsense of the RNC convention. Thanks for playing, though.

Again, you of all people needs not to be the one playing this card. Just stop being so condescending towards other people. "thanks for playing, though" reeks of condescending assholery.

You were one of the people who acted like covid19 wasn't a big deal, and you got it.
How about showing some humility?

Look, first of all, I got the COVID while employing every. single. preventive. measure. available. So, stop.

Moreover, I get attacked in here more than any other person. For one reason, and one reason alone: I'm supporting Donald J. Trump. The vileness towards me now transcends anything politically. Shoot, Joe Biden could get elected and y'all will STILL hate me! LOL

Oh, and stop with me being condescending. My facetious/sarcastic responses in here have been wrought out of a certain degree of self-preservation. Meanwhile, I take hits from all sides. Heh, I'm used to it by now.

You talked about going on a trip, you even said you took off your mask to talk to someone (who you don't live with). Don't act like you did "every single preventive measure available", because guess what? That means *not going on a trip*.

This is where you're wrong. It's not because you support DJT. You aren't the only one who supports him (or is conservative, etc). The reason people "attack" you is because lack self awareness, and perspective. You put out misinformation, wrong information, misleading information, and LACK information about so many subjects, and then pull the "awww shucks" shit all the time.

Hell, your serious question, should I refer to paper as white "joke" was so tone deaf it wasn't even funny.

People like conversing with people who can take in new information and adapt to it. Not necessarily change their minds, but be introspective about things. You take in new information and you just repeat the same stuff over and over.

Oh, and stop with me being condescending. My facetious/sarcastic responses in here have been wrought out of a certain degree of self-preservation. Meanwhile, I take hits from all sides. Heh, I'm used to it by now.
You may not be intending to be condescending, but that's EXACTLY how it comes off. And see the "aww shucks" response.

No you get attacked because of your hypocrisy and your trolling here. Look at the kind of shit you post. You said you were completely behind John Kasich because of his stance on abortion. Then voted for Trump. Then completely ignore the fact that Kasich is actually openly endorsing Biden.

You get attacked because you are completely full of shit. Stop with this victim card bullshit-- you reap what you sow.

We took the flight one-way in a sparsely populated jet on July 29th. We were in a rental vehicle from then out. How many people to you think are flying today? Should every flight be cancelled due to COVID??? Yes, we had breakfast with a nurse and no masks on, Perhaps, my mistake. Not sure. I have absolutely no regrets about taking that trip.

As to all the other hogwash you posted here, believe what you'd like. Do I post some stuff in here I end up retracting? Sure. Is it critical stuff? probably not.

My whitepaper comments were NOT tone deaf. There are so many terms out there that the pc police tell us we can and cannot use. Shoot, when the term, 'African-American' first came out, we were instructed we shouldn't use the term, 'Black' anymore. Then, many Blacks themselves came out and said poppycock...they're Black....and please continue to call them Black. The whole which terms to use, or not, has become a bit ludicrous in my estimation. Now, does that mean the 'N' word is OK? Well, duhh....absolutely not. At any rate, I was sharing what I thought was a somewhat funny story regarding a colleague friend of mine...and set it up that way. Again, because of many you y'all's feelings towards me, you refused to take it that way. Sorry for ya.

This ain't a Republican Message Board. And I know it. ;)

Kasich is still my guy on abortion.

Not entirely certain why he's choosing to support Biden. Perhaps, he's still a bit butt-hurt he lost out to Trump (see: Romney) But, the Biden/Harris ticket would become probably the most abortion-friendly ticket in history. As far as it depends on me, I can't have that.

Maybe he doesn't think abortion is the only important issue.

barfo

Despite Kasich's overall stances, it's important enough for me NOT to vote for someone who's all-in with it, though.

your own words seem to contradict this..

Yes it was tone deaf, and this whole paragraph pretty much confirms that it was tone deaf. And you seem to be oblivious as to why it would be tone deaf to make the joke, think the joke was funny, or even think that it's even important enough to think it was a valid point to make.

You do understand just how condescending the joke is, right? You basically trivialized the plight of people for wanting to be treated as an equal. Good on you, I guess.

I'll agree to disagree with you on this. Nonetheless, I'll try to be more careful in the future. I guess.

Like it or not, abortion is a constitutional right! Just as gun ownership is. Talk about placing restrictions on gun ownership and gun owners go absolutely bug shit crazy. They want no restrictions whatsoever on their right to “protect” themselves (which means the right to kill someone in certain situations). They have NO tolerance for ANY discussion on the topic. Yet so many of them want to deny women of their constitutional right to have a say over their own bodies. Please tell me you don’t see the hypocrisy of that reasoning. The right wants to fight for their constitutional rights while denying others their constitutional rights. I Personally believe abortion to be murder. That is MY right. And that’s as far as MY rights go. I’m entitled to my opinion. So are you. But neither I, you nor the government have a right to deny others their own constitutional rights just because we don’t share their viewpoints and ideologies. To think otherwise is nothing more than the epitome of arrogance.....and genuinely unAmerican. We’ll all be judged in the end, and authentic Christians understand that and leave the final say to God. Maybe if the right wing wasn’t such an uptight, pearl clutching, bunch of spinster prudes and was open to improving access to birth control and education, abortion wouldn’t be an issue. You guys are your own worst enemy in a fight you can’t ultimately win.
