I'm bored, so I'm revisiting this trade idea of Melo to Houston.

Trade #1

Followed by Trade #2
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yaxklx75

Works out to be this:
To Houston: Melo, Nicholson

To Knicks: Harkless, Leonard, 3 non-guaranteed contracts (Long might have some potential), rights to Hartenstein, Houston 1st '20 pick.
Houston 2nd '18 pick

To Portland: Anderson, Ariza, Onuakau,

Portland gets out of the remaining balance of Crabbe's contract (Nicholson) and moves Meyers - but have to take on Anderson (who is MUCH more productive)
I'm not against this deal. Ariza is better than Harkless.

I was thinking smaller so you could still see her face, but eh, that works

Happy? lol

Dude, you couldn't be farther off. I was a nerd beyond all nerds, including reading rather than going outside and actually having friends. I just never could get into a show about a daydreaming dog. "Oh, I'm going to imagine I'm the main character of all these books..."

Whatever.

If that's what you took from the show then its no wonder you didn't like it. The dog and even his human companions were vehicles used to tell whatever story from whatever book and to present books as fun and exciting and to encourage kids to read so they too could then go on exciting adventures of their own 'like' Wishbone.

Not once did I ever imagine I'm the main character or thought it was a show strictly about a day dreaming dog.

I don't want Anderson. Similar to the analysis of Crabbe, even if we move a smaller contract to get him, he's still on that huge deal, and much less movable than other guys on smaller deals. I'd much rather a deal that sends out better pieces (like Davis) but returns better pieces as well (like Courtney Lee), and has Anderson going to the Knicks (maybe they'd be OK with taking Anderson if they shed Lee simultaneously).

I don't know. I kind of like the look of her eyes. What does it look like tattooed on her forehead instead of over her eyes?
Agreed - her face is what made the meme work in the first place.

Moving on up that MOST VIEWED thread ladder....... #3

This has morphed into a thread about everything, and nothing, that exists solely in search of the record*. Hardly a fair measuring stick against the classics.

Reminds me of the multiple post-padding threads on BBB.

It's kind of amazing that there hasn't been any developments, but I think the Knicks and Blazers have probably agreed to just try to wait Melo out.

We might see things pickup around training camp, which is in late September.

people talking about long threads are just thread challenged! I say we trim it down....everybody start deleting posts here until it's back to just a couple of my posts!

This thread is exactly like Carmelo Anthony; A big, bloated, over-hyped player(thread) that has a ton of useless and empty stats(posts)but because of the sheer quantity will go down as one of the greatest players(threads) in the history of the NBA.(SportsTwo.com.)

But unlike Melo, this thread will have the chance to be #1.

"We're Number One, but whenever the word 'one' is sung, every clip of Melo missing a contested mid-range jumper is shown."
