This is another poor modding choice. Just like Sly's was to publicly show I had two posts deleted by Stren, when it was actually only one. Because I made the decision to word it differently(aka delete myself) in order to stay within the rules of the forum.

Well. Melo's a ring chaser here. Harden was an MVP this year. They have CP3. I mean superteams are kind of a bandied around term that has no real clear definition.

I don't get why anyone would want him now. This feels like a desperate move by Houston, who probably already missed their limited shots at a title.

Just so glad he isn't a Blazer next season.

No not confused really. I just don't think OKC will continue to be as competitive. So i don't see that as a good pick. I see them not getting into the playoffs in 3 years. So the Hawks will be stuck with two second rounders.
Now the expiring contract does them good but still nets them nothing if they can't get an All Star to decide to go there. I get your point. Picks and cap space always are a good thing. But this is the Atlanta Hawks. They pretty much need to build the same way the Blazers do. If it was my choice i would have asked for more. But who knows??? Maybe they did? Thunder might have been happy staying with who they had? Guess we will see how this works for them? Just seems Carmelo Anthony always comes out on top of every deal he gets. In my opinion. This is no different. Anthony gets to play on a contender and he gets paid a bunch all at once.

The vast majority of posts that are edited or deleted are done without anything being said.

Sometimes I do say things, especially if there is a large multiple post argument between more than one person.

Sometimes you make the "oh shit, dad just got home!" post so everyone know the mods have seen these posts and are taking some action.

This can be done for multiple reasons, 1) It's a nice way to say knock it the fuck off. 2) People have either sent complaints or PMs about posts in the thread.

I don't have time to write everyone and explain what I'm doing or going to do.

But even if @Strenuus did seek a "gold star of approval" (which I don't buy, Stren is a good dude who knows he'll never get props from people who were moderated) what's wrong with that? The mods do a shit load of thankless work around here. If they want to take a victory lap after reading through some of the BS around here then I'm fine with it.

Sorry, if it's a continuing problem you will be contacted privately via PM.

We just don't have time to reach out to everyone and explain to them what they did and what we did. That would take hours.

As I have talked to you previously in public and private, you push the personal insult rule to an extreme. You do this intentionally. Repeatedly pushing things to the edge means you sometime step over the line. It happens.

It's only a big deal if you want to make it one.

It's been mentioned before. Melo is not the main guy this time around with Harden and CP3 already there. It'll be interesting, but I don't foresee it as being such a big problem for D'Antoni. I think Melo will have to commit and change his style of play for the sake of the team. However, we will see if he's capable of doing that this upcoming season.

I completely understand why it isn't a big deal to you and why this piece of pettiness shouldn't even be in your radar right now.

That said, yeah, censorship is a big deal to me.

I completely disagree that I broke the personal insult rule and the explanation I was given by Platy wasn't sufficient and still haven't heard from @Strenuus.

I stand by my post that I don't feel should've been deleted.

When was the last time you talked to me about the personal insult rule? Nevermind I'll remind you. It's when Nate's racist ass got banned. And even then, I felt my personal insults of him were deserved. It was the least I could do.

Now that was however long ago.

Not to wade into another place where I'm not wanted, but the circle jerk thing was an actual quote from someone talking about circling jerking (lol); @dviss1 was just quoting someone else. In other words, @dviss1 didn't START the circle jerk, he FINISHED it.
