Do we know who the fourth team is? Nets, Bucks, Cavs, Suns...

As mentions a couple of times earlier, I have several contacts throughout the league and one of them is in NY but affiliated much more with the Nets. They still have good sources and have been pretty solid with details they have shared before.

Please keep feeding us the details, partner. I certainly appreciate it!

I've done that enough. After a certain point, it's just going in circles.

Meyers gets a lot of shit but it's mostly jokes by this point. I don't think anyone really takes him seriously anymore. We're way past that point. Your crabbe takes are all filled with spreadsheets of stats that favor whatever argument youre trying to make at the time. Like you're trying to convince literally everyone that has a different opinion than you.
I prefer crab cakes full of cream cheese

He. Can't. Play. Defense.

Neither. Can. Dame.

He can play defense, it's just not to your standards. Let's see how the defense looks when he and the team knows they have a defensive anchor behind them in Nurk.

So then you're making my point. We don't need that many starters that aren't 2 way players. Especially ones that make almost 20 Mil per year (Anderson, Crabbe).

If we're talking 4-way deals, why aren't people mentioning Crabbe to BKN?

http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=y7eg3gmh

I don't have a ton of time to play with it, but the following
Picks in play:
HOU 2020, 2022?
BKN picks after 2020
NYK 2018/19 2nds, 2021 1st

BKN: Crabbe for Lin + Pick/Pick swap w/PDX
NYK: Melo for Hark, Turner, non-guarantees and 1st from HOU
PDX: Hark, Turner, Crabbe for Anderson, Lin, Hartenstein's rights, BKN pick swap and NYK 2nds
HOU: Anderson, Hartenstein, 2020 1st for Melo

Shaves $57M in salary over the next 3 years, gets to bet on someone else's pick for lotto, interesting young prospect. BKN upgrades from Lin to Crabbe with Russell at PG now.
Dame/CJ/Aminu/Anderson (or Vonleh)/Nurk with Lin/Collins/Biggie/Davis/Leonard/Shabazz/Pat/Layman off the bench

May need a followup of Big Ed or Noah for a wing player.

Can't speak for everyone, but IMO, if we're going to have a severely overpaid 1-dimensional player on the team, I'd rather it not be at the same position as our two first round picks. Your deal basically leaves us with four 6'3" PG's in the backcourt, Aminu and Layman at SF, and 7 bigs who probably deserve minutes. I don't know how manageable that roster would be.

It bothered me. I can't believe people still don't understand that it's spelled "ur" whether possessive or contraction.
I generally assume people know the rule and write it off as a typo, or these days, auto correct.

Is it at the same position as our two rookies? I think Swanigan is better under the basket for rebounding purposes. I think he backs up Nurk. Collins is a year away. Maybe we trade one of them plus Noah for a scoring wing? If we really have 7 bigs who deserve minutes.......

From Woj:

No deal was imminent Wednesday, but the Knicks and Rockets are confident that they have a willing third-team trade partner, the sources said.

The fourth team was needed to move a particular player contract that neither the Knicks nor Rockets could or would accept in the deal, league sources said.

Sounds a lot like Portland and Meyers (or maybe Turner)

I do think it's interesting the Woj doesn't know (or isn't disclosing) who the third team is. Which Portland seems to be about the only team this happens to regarding Woj.

Ding ding ding. Wojs Portland source is most likely Neil.

Knicks also get a first from Houston and a second from Portland and Brooklyn.

I think Collins is going to get some run specifically for defensive purposes.
Now..... he might foul out in 4 1/2minutes. But he's going to be out there patrolling the paint as the backup center.
No one other than Nurk on the roster is the rim defender Collins has shown to be in SL.

With Swanigan's work ethic I won't put anything past him for taking the starting 4 spot from Vonleh.
Though I think it's Vonleh's job to lose right now.
If Anderson is traded for, he'll be the starting 4 without a doubt.
