Should the Blazers puruse Carmelo Anthony?

I just hope we are not sending out Harkless and Leonard to receive Anderson, that'd be horrid. You attach Harkless to get rid of Meyers contract but get an equally bad or even worse deal in return. I'd feel sick if that happened.

We also get the better player. My issue is we're still doing Houston a favor. I'd want more than a shitty contract (while being a good player, his contract is still bad, and not an asset)

I'd demand a pick or another player

Let's see if it happens or if we're even involved before freaking out. Harkless for Anderson makes little sense. Leonard's contract isn't THAT bad.
 
Given all the rumors we've seen the last few days, i still don't think we'd be getting back anderson in this trade. This is why there's a 4th team involved. Alleviates some of the angst.
 
I really like Harkless but I do see him as being inconsistent. It really depends on what we get back.

But I agree with others, if Anderson is the main piece, then the deal is a loss from our end.

If we get Turner/Meyers off the books, it make it slightly more acceptable. I'd want a 1st round pick from somewhere else though.
 
Harkless is what he is... can be an exciting player but just doesn't have the passion to become great. Ryan Anderson makes Blazers a top shooting team in NBA and opens the paint for Nurkic and CJ/Dame... Anderson takes Blazers to next level... Mo will never be more than a role player
 
I will not be able to watch Harkless become great on another team... please don't do that

Do people not get that the next two NBA championships will be won by GS? Ariza will be long gone before we begin contending
