Is he decent on defense? He is perfect for Stotts system... will open up the paint for Nurkic to beast on people, and driving lanes for Dame and CJ...

Not a markkanen fan but would be surprised if Stotts felt the same.
What I read said he's got handles...can create his shot...shoot from deep and finish at the rim..he's a big guy with quickness they say...don't know about defense but few rookies figure that out first year..also said he's got a lightining quick releaseShoots '3's and doesn't play defense? Right up Stott's alley.
no....they gave us Harkless and he wasn't happy thereI think Isaac is going 4th.
The goal should be to get #6. That way, we'd have the choice of Jayson Tatum, Josh Jackson, or Johnathan Isaac (assuming Lonzo Ball goes top 3 and De'Aaron Fox goes 5th to Sacremento).
Orlando has #6, #25, #33, and #35, so it'll be hard to see a deal developing. I'd be willing to take on Biyombo as a backup C to help sway ORL (they'd probably like to dump his contract).
So maybe something like #15, #20, #26, Harkless, and Ezeli for #6, #35, and Biyombo.
Would you guys do that? Do you think Orlando would do it?
So because Harkless might not want to go back you wouldn't do the deal? Lol.no....they gave us Harkless and he wasn't happy there
They wouldn't want to....insert Leonard for the same money and it's a good deal...they could keep Biyombo and send the dunk guySo because Harkless might not want to go back you wouldn't do the deal? Lol.
They'd want Harkless much more than they'd want Leonard. They wouldn't want to....insert Leonard for the same money and it's a good deal...they could keep Biyombo and send the dunk guy
That's sort of the point....Mo was one of their developing guys too...they dropped him like a hot potato...Orlando is not a very savvy franchise from my view.Gordon is one of their building blocks

Gordon is one of their building blocks. They wouldn't even trade him for #15 and #20. They don't want Biyombo's contract.
Of course, we are one of the NBA development team.Portland is targetting Issac. They are swinging for the fences

Usually this close to the draft you'd hear some scuttlebutt about who Neil likes.
We were linked to both Lillard and CJ weeks before the draft.
Giles injuries scare meMy dream scenario: We end up with Isaac and Giles somehow. Damn
Giles injuries scare me
I said that when we signed Festus....His upside intrigues me more than his injuries scare me.
Honestly, I saw him play in only one game. I wasn't impressed.Markkanan is the real deal... he is the best shooter in the draft and his shot is unblockable. The problem is people here automatically discount him because of Meyers... but one has nothing to do with the other. This guy will be the next Dirk. Mark my words.
It's not still Jeff Ma, is it?At the end of the day, I trust the Blazers statistical analytics nerd guy. Seen him in photos, don't know his name.

I think teams will be more conservative about the cap, because 'what's the point?'It is going to be funny how many teams will make misguided desperation moves after watching what The Warriors did in the finals. I think a lot of teams are going to really regret it for years to come. I certainly hope we aren't one of them.

Butters would have kicked his ass....
Bad sample size, but as much as I would like to, I just didn't see anything that made me attracted to what he was bringing....
