Lillard is in LA doing something with 2K.

There was no indication if Anthony is willing to expand his list, meaning this latest Melodrama could drag on. The Blazers and Suns are said to have some interest in getting involved in a bid for Anthony.

It was also reported the Rockets are prepared that “these negotiations with the Knicks could run through August, September, into possibly the start of training camp as New York tries to rebuild Melo’s value.

Better settle in for a few months of @#$#$#^% on this thread.

If this shit lasts till training camp will this thread get 10,000 posts?

Which actually makes me wonder, what's the most posts on one thread in this forum's history??

Knicks better not cave and buy him out, or even worse, settle on whatever Houston would offer.

Just checked. The most replies on a thread is 6,854 on the 2012 NBA Draft Thread.

This one rumor is in 3rd place in the history of this forum after a little less than two weeks. If this lasts through training camp... Yikes.

It's like I said.... NY will have to wait him out. Unfortunately he won't have much value to us halfway through the season.

They definitely won't take on some horrible contract just to make him happy. And if they did buy him out, the Rockets don't have any cap space to sign him.

I just like the idea of taking a gamble on Melo, with the worst case scenario being cap relief.

The question is: What salaries could we dump to justify trading Carmelo, and how much compensation would NYK want to take on a Turner/Crabbe contract?

They don't need cap space. If he's that adamant about Houston, he'll take the MLE. Right?

I guess if he wants to sign for a small contract, but they won't have any space next year either. He'll be sacrificing a lot of money.

According to the Urban Dictionary:

epic
the most overused word ever, next to fail. for even more asshole points, use them together to form "epic fail."

everything is epic now. epic car. epic haircut. epic movie. epic album. epic shut the fuck up.

saying "epic win" doesn't make you sound any better, either. and for fucks sake, don't ever say it in person.

BNM

And that's why we traded him for Nurkic.
One has nothing to do with the other. They didn't want/or have enough to have to pay Plumlee this summer..... I don't think they thought he would go back to Brooklyn cause he didn't want to be here. Remember Nurk is going to need to be paid to stay here very soon.
