I know players usually get away with it but technically I think it would be tampering if he mentioned Portland while he is still on the Rockets.

Downside: it’s less minutes for chief and zach, both of whom offer more than Melo at this point. Why Fuck the chemistry up on a 10-3 team with this clown. Not one person believes he’s the difference in making us better than GS so why bring him in? Makes no sense to me.

No, he eats all of Layman's minutes, and maybe some of Stauskas and Turners.
 
I think if it's an option we sign the guy. He'll help our offense and might be a better starter than Moe at least he'd be better than Layman until Moe gets back.

How will a somebody who's declining, a below average 2pt shooter, an average (at best) 3pt shooter, who's a ball stopper and doesn't pass, help our offense?

I guess some people don't realize just how bad he's been.

At this point, Melo is probably worse than Meyers. Both can't defend for shit, but at least Meyers plays within the flow of the offense and can make a shot...
