“Melo to Houston; what’s the worst that could happen?!?”Ah Dame's trying to force another team to take him, hoping it'll weaken them!

This made laugh. Well done.Ah Dame's trying to force another team to take him, hoping it'll weaken them!
Who would help our team win more games next season playing 20 minutes a game off the bench? Tolliver or Melo? They roughly play the same style and position. You know my answer FAMS.Shit, Neil better not sign him to our last spot
Do we get to count the times Melo would cost us games? I don't want either to play 20MPG if you're asking.Who would help our team win more games next season playing 20 minutes a game off the bench? Tolliver or Melo? They roughly play the same style and position. You know my answer FAMS.
Same style? What games you been watching, FAMS?!! Tolliver is a vastly better 3-point shooter, and has never been a ball-stopper like Melo. I don't think Melo would work on this teamWho would help our team win more games next season playing 20 minutes a game off the bench? Tolliver or Melo? They roughly play the same style and position. Melo would not be happy with coming off the bench, causing many more problems than he would solve. Why do you think Houston, would got him for peanuts, didn't want him?Who would help our team win more games next season playing 20 minutes a game off the bench? Tolliver or Melo? Probably should have said same "size".Same style? What games you been watching, FAMS?!! Tolliver is a vastly better 3-point shooter, and has never been a ball-stopper like Melo. I don't think Melo would work on this team
You sir are wrong in using "rings" as a way to judge. I could go on and on about players who DO have rings and who DOESN’T. The Mailman has as many rings as you do as well..... and Adams Morrison has more.I don't get the obsession with Melo. Or why Dame cares if he gets a "farewell" tour. The guy has the same amount of rings I do. I don't think Dame should get a farewell tour unless he wins some rings either. Denver / NY fans can love Melo if they want too, but his lasting impression on the NBA really doesn't deserve it. He's just a good scorer that never won, been a lot of much better players who never got a farewell tour.
Sure but Malone never got a farewell tour either. Its not about judging based off of rings. Its about that that type of recognition should be saved for greats of the great. Like Kobe, deserved it. LBJ will deserve it, Steph will deserve it. Duncan if he wanted too wouldve deserved it too.You sir are wrong in using "rings" as a way to judge. Yeah! That might just work? They might win the Championship if he was playing? We should put Melo on next year's 3 on 3 team.

He has more gold medals than you and he will be in the Hall of Fame. Not every great player wins a championship.I don't get the obsession with Melo. Or why Dame cares if he gets a "farewell" tour. Look at Jinx dropping that mad dog days of summer hoop knowledge!!!!! #BAMHe has more gold medals than you and he will be in the Hall of Fame. Not every great player wins a championship.
I think there is only room for one fat and out of shape post player on our team. Am I being replaced? We should put Melo on next year's 3 on 3 team.
Yeah well, Carmelo is hardly a great player. He's 19th all-time in scoring which was the only thing he ever did reasonably well. How many "great" players w/o health problems can't even find teams who want them in their early 30's.He has more gold medals than you and he will be in the Hall of Fame. Not every great player wins a championship.
He rebounded reasonably well and in his glory days, he was a decent defender. Also forgot to mention his NCAA championship. He’s one of the best to ever play the game.Yeah well, Carmelo is hardly a great player. He's 19th all-time in scoring which was the only thing he ever did reasonably well. No one is saying he sucks, but he doesn't deserve a farewell tour, he hardly deserves being in the HOF. Much better players never got a farewell tour.
AI vs MeloHe rebounded reasonably well and in his glory days, he was a decent defender. Also forgot to mention his NCAA championship. He’s one of the best to ever play the game.
Top what? 50? He had one year he averaged over 8 rebounds per game (at 8.1) and 4 total he was over 7, so no not terrible, but not exactly elite either. He had one year in his entire career he averaged over four assists, Kobe the guy everyone calls a chucker averaged more than 4 assists all but 4 years of his career. I mean again, Carmelo in his prime was a very good scorer, and heck maybe even today could be I don't know. He's not AI who was a cultural phenom, he's not like Malone or Stockton, or a plethora of other guys who kept getting close to winning a ring and just never could (he was never that close). I'll give you that he had a good career, but worthy of running around doing a farewell tour? Not in my book. Like I said I think that "honor" is for the greatest of the greats, and again Carmelo did not have major injury problems and in his early 30's (now he's in his mid 30's) was basically chased out of the league, even Chris Paul who is only one year younger was able to at the same age get a gigantic contract. He rebounded reasonably well and in his glory days, he was a decent defender. Also forgot to mention his NCAA championship. He’s one of the best to ever play the game.

That was ring chasing, not a farewell tour imo.Yes, Malone did. Lakers
