I think we should draw up a set of rules that we all agree on, first.

How many hours for the draft pick? I say 8 to 12hrs?

i think it'd be best to get the draft going as soon as possible to keep everyone interested. if we take too long, we're probably going to have to find at least a few new people. and if the draft is happening on the forum where everyone gets a time limit of several hours, it's going to take forever so it should start soon.

i think the draft order should be decided soon and we should start the draft. go ahead and assume nba salary cap and roster limits(15 round draft but the last 2 rounds are optional since teams are only required to have 13 guys).

it would be very difficult to get all 30 people around at the same time for a live draft, but that would be the quickest way to get things done.

i assume a draft with a several hour long time limit will be the way it's done, i just don't see it taking anything less than a month to complete.

Maybe we can agree on a 4hr limit? That way we'd get 6 picks per day, hopefully more if people would send list to someone.

I believe our GM Drafts gave a 6hr window, with each person who picked PMing the next person that it was their turn to pick.

I thought that that worked pretty smoothly, granted it took time.

The date will be tricky with the holidays coming soon. I mean with people on vacation and whatnot. We could still do it if say...the people going on vacation and not gonna access a computer could submit like a big list of their rankings of players and send it to one of the mods running the draft or something.

Just pitching ideas.

True, but like someone else said if we don't start soon, then people will not be interested in it anymore.

There's still 3 weeks left until holidays, so I'm sure we can start few rounds at least.

If people are on point, we can go thru a round every 2-3 days. But we all have to be on point with our PMing.
