Damn Obama...
He has had the power and a veto proof congress to effect change. So much for the hopey changey thing.
Hilarious. You know the "roots" of the problem....
Yeah it's his fault... First veto proof doesn't mean legislation can get past the Republican filibuster...
2nd, he can't even institute REPUBLICAN plans (yes the ACA was written by the heritage foundation) without them calling it a government takover. Now you want him to do specifically targeted outreach to help black businesses or really do anything that specifically targets helping black people only?
Yeah... C'mon now...
I didn't say that I do. I said that nobody is really trying to get to all of the roots of the problem. BLM is all about the narrative that police are too quick to shoot black people. The anger and blame is placed almost entirely on the police. Some of that is deserved and there's little doubt that police need to do everything Omaha they can to root out racist cops. That said, from my perspective, there doesn't seem to be any push to consider other factors in the black and poor communities that result in there being an increased chance of black kids being in dangerous situations.

Actually, when Democrats had 60 voters in the senate, republicans could not filibuster.
He managed to get ObamaCare passed without a single republican vote. Got past the filibuster.
What legislation did he propose to help black people get jobs that wasn't passed by congress when he had the veto proof senate?
No. After much years of experience and much study, I designed it. Then I built it. It is proving to be very successful. Is your boat a blessing?

I think I will enter it in the Port Townsend Wooden Boat show this year, get some feed back.
Hey that was quite a pitch you just gave on blessings, good show. I don't happen to think that way, I suppose I am more of a pantheist,
God does the big work, like create life. But it is up to us mortals, in what we do with his work, I don't think he does a thing for us individually, especially daily. So no the Boat is my work, my creation. I also have others, systems, houses, boats, and more.
Wonder why Obama doesn't understand this? Wonder what he has created? Who does he credit? Health Care? Geez, he cost me mine and my wifes, along with several million other people.
Jesus Christ... I really hate when people push bullshit narrative. Did you forget the Scott Brown election or not?
And you're really gonna call Arlen Specter a Democrat? Yeah... No...
Did you forget to mention WHAT LEGISLATION DID OBAMA PROPOSE to help black employment?
And Brown voted to remove the filibuster on ObamaCare, to everyone's damage.
Nice carefully crafted response. Not one I'd expect from most Christians.
Yeah, yes.

Specter says Obama ditched him after he provided 60th vote to pass health reform
He did what he was supposed to do. Avoid a race war on his watch.
That's just nuts.
He's supposed to be president of all the people, including those black folks who want and need jobs.
Cause he's a smarmy right winger. What, was Obama supposed to hitch his wagon to a guy who changed his political party for political gain? That would be politically stupid.
That is the specific reason why he didn't propose any legislation that specifically targets blacks.
People already want to get rid of affirmative action because they say it's racist. Imagine if the black president introduced reparations...
Nonsense.
Blacks being employed is everyone's benefit. Means we ALL don't need to be overtaxed as much to pay for their welfare payments.
Reparations isn't the only solution to black unemployment. Tax breaks for hiring or building black enterprise is a decent start. Hell, he gave tax breaks and outright cash payments to Solyndra type companies.
Nonsense.
Blacks being employed is everyone's benefit. Means we ALL don't need to be overtaxed as much to pay for their welfare payments.
And you can't find one right-wing Republican to support that. It's not nonsense at all. Republicans purposely opposed near every single thing that he proposed.
What you are being overtaxed for 13 years of war. The price tag for health care for all as well as welfare benefits in my opinion is negligible and should just be paid. Say what you want about that. I would have rather invested 4-6 Tril in the people instead of spending it on unnecessary War. My cousin is in Afghanistan as we speak. My other cousin is on his fourth tour in Kuwait...
If you have people saying that affirmative action is racist, what the hell would you have people saying about tax breaks for hiring black people? Please step into the realm of reality.
Nope. We paid for the wars and had money to return to the taxpayer as tax cuts.
It was a massive increase (across the board) in Democratic Socialism programs by Bush and republicans that got us into deficits again, and Obama dialed it up to 11.
Please tell me what the correlation is between black on black crime and police violence.

Let people complain about the tax breaks. They won't complain about tax cuts since the money isn't needed to pay for their welfare.
The problem is those "shovel ready jobs" weren't so ready after all.
