Higgy needs to take a backseat for the time being. Trevino is outplaying him by a large margin.

Brought this up before but I can't figure out what happened to Higgy's bat...I mean, I know he wasn't Silver Slugger talent, but he used to smoke the ball a good bit until this year.

Had a great spring too. Just hasn't been able to do anything.

Hicks drives in Trevino to end the inning...5-0, good guys.

Cole’s living the Life of Riley……all that run support & he’s pitching a No hitter. Too much.

Amazing stuff from the pitching staff. …….and good pitching will take a team far.

Lucky 13 as Yankees win 13-0. Judge continues his MVP campaign, Trevino should be considered the starting catcher at the moment and Andujar and Carpenter have added a nice shot in the arm.

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the Yankees are the first team in the Expansion Era (since 1961) to have perfect game bids of six or more innings in consecutive games.

According to Elias, Carpenter joined Dave Kingman (1977) and Eric Hinske (2009) as the only Yankees to homer for four of their first five hits with the club.

I'd like it a lot better if the Gallo experiment was over. Should be let go when Stanton comes back.

I don't think any of us saw this coming...our pitching staff was not supposed to be this damned good...as Mess et al have pointed out, if we stay healthy, we'll be OK.

Not just Gallo, but Hicks too...Donaldson too, for that matter.

Problem is, the Yanx will have to eat a LOT of contract money in order to jettison these 3 guys. I'd be OK with also packaging Torres along with any of the aforementioned players if that's what it takes to get it done.

Torres could be a .300 hitter if he'd cut down on his swing and change his approach...but he won't.
