Terry Stotts is available.

How would Stotts' offense possibly work with a team that (without Ant) does not have a single reliable outside shooter?

Curious which coach COULD have won last night's game then? I could care less how they "look".....a win is a win and a lose is a lose.Losing is OK, but losing like that is not. Uninspired. Lethargic. Boring. No defense, inside or outside. Layup after layup. Open 3 after open 3. And for an allegedly "defensive oriented" coach, it's an embarrassment.
He was not. He was very engaged in timeouts. No boos. Nice try though FAMS.somebody at the game said Billups was getting boo'd during the intros. uh oh... I noticed Chauncey looked mad and wasn't clapping during timeouts.
"Anybody" was supposed to be better right? Where are those people at now?Terry Stotts is available.

How do you develop a Hyundai? These are Audis and BMWs out there....we are rolling out KIAs talking about "development"?It would be nice if our players were actually being developed...

Name one coach you think would make this team any better with the current roster and starting lineup?
PREACH FAMS PREACH!Maybe a new coach would heal Simons quicker, and fix Brogdon and Scoots injuries, and donate a new knee to Robert.
YOU ARE WINNING THE DAY! These are G-League players! They are, but they're also playing players who have no business playing minutes.
Well, you change the oil and put it in drive. Make upgrades as possible. The same as you would a BMW or Audi. How do you develop a Hyundai? These are Audis and BMWs out there....we are rolling out KIAs talking about "development"?
1. Popovich
2. Udoka
3. Monty Williams
4. D'Antoni
Has nothing to do with the record. At all. The record is perfectly fine.
Wins and losses don't matter now. Teaching offensive schemes that generate quality looks matters.Curious which coach COULD have won last night's game then? I could care less how they "look".....a win is a win and a lose is a lose.

Longterm, Billups is not the guy. But right now there is no amount / level of coaching that makes us win.
I would love to see what he could get out of out guys once Simons, Scoot, ant Brogdon are back.Terry Stotts is available.

Rather walk or even LIMP than take a KIA or a Hyundai out of the driveway FAMS. When you bring one of those home, you know what you are getting and accept it. Kinda like marrying an ugly woman.Well, you change the oil and put it in drive. Make upgrades as possible. The same as you would a BMW or Audi.
You might not get there as quickly or with as much style, but you'll be making progress.
Right now we're just letting it sit in the driveway... Maybe idling it in park on game days.
W is a W....an L is an L.Wins and losses don't matter now. Teaching offensive schemes that generate quality looks matters.
Getting Ayton good looks in rhythm matters. Same with Grant and Sharpe.
I've seen none of that from Chauncey. This year or last year. There is no progress being made. We need to be going out and finding the best up and coming coach now.
Yeah we were a young team that laid a dud from start to finish against a team that is about two or three years ahead of us. Still, anyone who was asking for a rebuild and is whining today is a shitty fan.
okay, i didn't think it was required to say available…. And would want to be here.
All four of those guys have jobs, two of them being recent head coach hires and one will never coach anywhere else. The one guy left i question if he could get anything better out of these guys. D’Antoni. Maybe the offense would be better but the defense would suck.
Udoka was available.
D'Atoni would make an interesting choice because Shae has shown he is great in the open court and I think Scoot would benefit from an uptempo offense.
you can criticize a lot of things about the way the players play, but "uninspired" is about the last thing I'd point at. They're working their asses off. Just look at the defense, rebounding, and deflections, etc. Effort is there. Talent isn't. Shooting especially lacking without Ant/Brog.That isn’t what the OP is concerned about. Read his entire statement. With the players they do have they are not playing well at all. Even you must admit they are uninspired to say the least.
Pop reminds me of Bill Belichick. They had their all time great player and they won a ton of games and championships with that player, but as soon as that player left……I wasn't talking record, I was talking player development/better. It's why the NBA gave the Spurs Wembanyama.
But was isn't now. People are talking about firing him now, for who?
so past is irrelevant.
If you can get Dantoni out of the phoenix sun and to Portland, id be for it. Good luck with that though.
so back to, who is a realistic better option?
