There's a reason there's "disparity." You didn't address it.

okay, the first guy gets fired. Does that address it? In this imaginary world you describe, we have to be realistic.

Demeaning working people is awesome, taking away their dignity and everything. He sure put that server in their place!!!

Speaks volumes about your values EL P and BP

and then they yelled at a bum on the way out, and told that worthless piece of shit to get a job too.

and the next time they went to that restaurant they got jizz in thier food, and it was soooo delicious, they asked for it specifically for the rest of forever

So now you have even more disparity.

Oh i get it! You're saying the ultra wealthy earned their money, like Mitt Romney earned his daddy's money. Or Paris Hilton earned her money! Now i understand. And the poor are lazy and don't work hard. Thanks for clarifying that!

How about Obama's poster child, Warren Buffett?

3rd richest man in the world.

He employs 270,000 people.

Remember that the next time someone tries to fool you into thinking The Rich aren't job creators.

no different than from what people say about the 1%.

I am sorry if I gave the impression I don't think the rich are job creators. I also think the middle class are the wealth creators that the job creators use for labor.

The middle class are expendable and easily replaceable. They are nothing more than consumers, not producers when you really look at the big picture.

The acid must be kicking in. You probably shouldn't post again until you get a grasp on reality again.

Its true. They drive the economy by consuming. Production can be outsourced anywhere else. computer automation and outsourcing are the future.

Did somebody say 1%? How many jobs does Bill Maher create? That $1 million would feed a lot of hungry kids I bet.

Bill Maher gives $1 million to pro-Obama super PAC Priorities USA
Comedian Bill Maher has pledged $1 million to a super PAC supporting President Obama's reelection bid, some welcome news for a group that has struggled to raise money compared with its conservative rivals.

The group has raised about $4.4 million since last year, $2 million of which came from Hollywood mogul Jeffrey Katzenberg.

Obama shifted course earlier this month by announcing that he would support Priorities USA Action and would allow aides and Cabinet members to help raise money for it.

Super PACs have come to dominate spending in the GOP primaries because they are allowed to raise and spend unlimited amounts of money on elections.

The host of HBO's "Real Time With Bill Maher" announced his donation Thursday during a webcast for a Yahoo! standup comedy series.

"Most important advice I ever got in show business, as true today as then: Always bring your wallet onstage," Maher said in a Twitter post.

Priorities USA Action sent its own tweet, thanking Maher for his “generous donation.”

So the Republican's in this place are trying to justify belittling waitresses? Stay classy.

A little out of touch with reality.

i saw a blog somewhere where food service people would post pics of bad tips, and they all beat off in your food

What are you talking about? I'm not a Republican, but I found that tip to be ridiculous. The name on the bill shouldn't be redacted, because whoever that asshole is should be mocked in public.

being a waitress is not a sustainable job for the most part. you barely make minimum wage (except for some outliers who do work at expensive restaurants). For the most part, it is a stepping stone or something to make ends meet, otherwise you will be struggling. while hard work isn't bad, its always good to aspire for something with greater earning potential.

this guy's advice, while probably a bit douchey, is probably truthful and helpful. moreso than the $4-5 dollars the waitress will use to buy cigarettes with.

:MARIS61:

To me, the tipper is making a political statement. He is no different than an Occupy Wall Street type.

besides, service and tipping are mutually exclusive. You go out of the country, where you don't tip for service, its not like the service is way worse, its fine whether you tip or not. the entire concept is pretty stupid. "tip, or I'll jizz in your food".

You have lost touch with reality if you think this douche bags "career advice" was more beneficial to the server than an actual tip.

It was mean spirited and degrading. You should be ashamed of yourself for applauding him for doing it.

Whatever, its his own form of protest. You start class warfare, expect some blowback from the other side.

The 1% is often portrayed in mean spirited and degrading ways as well. Its just the irony of it all. You label someone in the "1%"..then fine, he'll leave a 1% tip. Its basically a "fuck you" to the whole class warfare predicated by this OWS movement.

elprez doesnt want to spend extra for jizz-free food, and i cant say that i blame him, you can hardly taste it

What's the message he was trying to send to the server?

Not trying to send a message to the server, but to society as a whole. You lump him in to the "1%", then fine, he'll act as he's expected to. 1% tip follows. Its just a form of irony which I find amusing.

Just like how OWS start blocking roads, shouting around neighborhoods and protesting..assaulting people, getting in people's face and annoying them..that is them being assholes too on a much larger scale.
