youre missing the point while being intentionally pedantic.

this idea is about getting bridges, an elite two way wing who has strong ties to dame.

replace collins with bamba and get orlando as your third team if you feel so strongly against Collins. it's just about getting a replacement center if we use Nurk's contract as the main ballast in a Bridges deal instead of Simons/Grant. BK is not a viable landing spot for Nurk as they are most likely getting younger and already have Claxton.

Honestly this is really true. Though I'd say people in their 30s use it in text still but I agree with everything else.

Could we trade GPII back to GSW for a 1st + young guys and add them to Reddish + Winslow + Keon + the NYK pick for Bridges? I didn’t think too hard about it, it was just a thought.

Well it’s not like we’re getting back what we’re missing. It also saves us from giving up an additional two unprotected picks.

Again, salaries have to work though and I didn’t think too much about salaries.

Well, if we want to win a championship it might be time to consider rebuilding around Ant and Sharpe. Im not sure how we can compete with the beyond Murderer’s Row the west has become.

Who knows, key cogs could be injured in the playoffs. At least with the suns, i’d almost bet that’s the case. they’re paper thin now too.
 
Up early talking to some folks back East. Still some unfinished things for Portland to complete the Hart trade. Might be proceeduraly small, but could also involve another team.
 
I'd take a swing for Bridges. It would cost Ant +, but that is exactly what Portland needs. He isn't the scorer Ant is, but is a legit defender who can also make a play for a teammate.

BRK is loaded up front, but much thinner in the backcourt. Ant could fill the whole left by Kyrie. Blazers would have Payton, Sharpe and Little to play SG. That is a drop off from Ant, but I feel it balances the roster in a lot of other ways.

Lakers, Suns, Mavs and Maybe even the T-Wolves all improved.

Bobby Marks alluded to this last night. A possibility of this evolving into more than two teams is there given it's a 3-to-1 trade

I wonder if there is another team we were talking to that just didn't want Hart and wanted to go young. Maybe they prefer Cam, a #1, and filler?
The deal is not completed so we can still trade Cam with other players. I am hoping that team is Toronto.

I like the idea, I'm assuming it will take a couple picks, and I'm still not sure we'd be left with a team that could get out of the first round.

I'd take Dame/Grant/Bridges vs Dame/Grant/Ant. More balanced, better defense and more length. Unlikely to happen, but that is the type of move that would really help this roster.

Yeah, I don't think there is any question about how good Bridges is. Which is why it took a Durant in order for Phoenix to move him. And it took a Bridges for the Nets to move Durant.
