So far I like the Bulls move and also Magic finally realizing it's time to rebuild.

lauri is due to extension, theyre not keeping him
also, hes injury prone, doesnt play defense and is inconsistent offensively

one can see why there are rumours about bulls willing to deal him

Good for chief too. Orlando is a swamp, the team that is...he he he

they will have been in the lottery in 7 of the last 9 years. If they are just realizing it now they are slow learners

If Neil doesn't want to resign GTJ or/and Zach, he needs to trade them TODAY
Seriously, if Gary walks for nothing, I'm going to be pissed. We don't have a championship team this season, so Gary isn't staying around to get us over the hump. So I don't care if it's a low first rounder and a an undrafted rookie free agent. We have to keep Gary or get something for him and there is no keeping Gary, CJ and Dame... that just won't make sense. But hey maybe having super small players at the 1, 2 and 3 is a great idea.

Look the Blazers will never have two current all stars. Not with the bad decisions made by Neil. You can't recover from that summer of 16. Huge cash for nards, turner, and moe. Those guys are literally not in the league presently. Ok moe keeps a warm seat but the others are correct. Oh I forgot crabbe, who knows where he is. Great Great job neil.

Hood + Collins + Trent for Gordon brings our tax space now to about 800 k under. I would do it.

Then a future second to get rid of Giles for someone making less.

Then bring on Porter.

In contrast look at who the the lakers dealt to get lebron and AD and a ring. They knew talent but dealt it for more accordingly.

If Boston uses the TPE on Fournier it serious hurts their ability to get Gordon

Atlanta and Boston must be feeling pressure. Suddenly, facing the Bulls in a play-in sounds pretty intimidating.

again, Portland has to deal with the minimum roster requirements; they are at the minimum of 14 already (although a team can drop to 13 for two weeks)

so, they'd have to sign a player before that trade. Maybe a 10-day contract would work, for a little while. But eventually, they'd have to sign two players for the rest of the season

so you have to do the pro-rated minimum contract math on veterans (a percentage of 1.61M) or non- veterans (a percentage of 900K). If it's Trent part of the deal, Portland might be able to sign a vet and non-vet, depending on how late they can sign each player. If it was Simons in the trade instead of Trent, Portland would gain a shade under 600K more margin, and that actually allows quite a bit more flexibility

So it’s down to Denver and us for Gordon? You can’t get beat by the team ur fighting for playoff position with Neil.
