Whine fest 21' -- some of you get a clue and stop acting like this is NBA 2k cause it's not

I am not saying it's not time to re-evaluate NeO as GM or Stotts as HC cause it is but like i said they do not have a lot of GOOD assets like 1st's to play with but some just do NOT or WILL not get it

people here know what the Blazers are up against and the obstacles stacked against them in the trade. And who the hell is responsible for that? Who was it that put Portland into the tax last year for a team with a losing record? Who was it that obligated Portland's 1st round picks till 2027? Portland is only 1.7M below the tax line but that's counting the 5M in dead salary going to Andrew Nicholson and Anderson Varejao. Who did that?

people here know a lot more about the situation than you're giving them credit for, but they know who is responsible for that situation and it's adding to the frustration

Honestly, if Stotts is here because of Dame and we can't trade CJ because of Dame, how much is he really helping the future of the franchise? Love his loyalty, but at some point, you have to do something to get better.
A real GM would tell Dame. Sorry we're going to do what's best for the team. If you were serious about the being here for the city and the team then let's move forward, if not ruin your image and demand a trade.

Dame has said it a million times... this is business.

If we call Houston and guarantee this year's pick then we have 23', 25', and 27' first rounders available to trade.

While this is true, I think you're overinflating the value of a 2027 first round pick of a team that's been consistently above average over the last decade... GMs don't make trades in vacuums. A mid-teens pick 6 years from now isn't going to be that interesting to a GM who may not have that job anymore...

Guys why not wait til the deadline is past before getting out the pitch forks and other items like that to destroy NeO -- He still might have a move to be made --

I will admit it is time to explore CJ trades but your not trading CJ at the deadline so you need to keep in real in the scope of the deadline not offseason type moves

Denver is up grading there team and while we standing fast and if we stand fast this my prediction we will be play in team due I think Dallas will over take us in the standing.

I have said this before. Dame is the reason Stotts is still here. Dame is the reason CJ is still here. Dame is the reason Neil is still here. He has put zero pressure on the organization to take risks or make changes. Do you think Kobe or Jordan or LeBron would have allowed the team to wallow in mediocrity the way that we have for the past six years?

Nuggets fans themselves think they gave up too much on Twitter at least

Fans always think they gave up too much because they often completely overvalue their players. The Nuggets got the best player involved....so they win. Their #5 starter, a scrub bench player and a protected 1st....not a lot.

It's a first rounder, there were some 2026 first rounders included in big trades this off season.

I said this a few weeks ago and it went over like a lead balloon in here

I get that, and it sounds like Denver used a '25 pick, so not that much difference, but my point was that people talk about these picks way down the road as if they're just as good as a 1 this year, and they're just not.

Almost like the Magic played hardball and then ended up settling with that deal

tell that to Orlando’s GM

So the Nuggets just gave up their 6th leading (single digit) scorer, a scrub who doesn't play, and a 2025 protected pick for Gordon?

No way in HELL we couldn't have beat that if Neil wanted to.

COMPLETE FAILURE!!!

in general every tweet I’ve seen has been “the magic won the deal” from fans on both sides. Look at the Twitter replies under Woj.

that said, it would appear Twitter is pretty high on RJ Hampton. And calling him a scrub bench player as a rookie is a bit disingenuous.

Random fans on twitter get to decide who won trades now?
