Wiseman would purely just be an asset as philly has no need for him. At that point I’d rather take picks as those doesn’t depreciate the way players already drafted do.
True. Though Moody and Kuminga being untested rookies still have that new-draftee sheen, so they'd certainly be worth dealing for.

If a trade happens...it's going to be a 3 way with PDX/GSW/PHI. Draymond coming here, Simmons to GSW and some combination going to PHI of Wiseman/CJ/Roco/DJ/Picks/Young players.

I just think it makes the most sense for all parties, and I think Dame has long coveted Draymond and is a deal is going to happen POR is going to get someone who appeases Dame and his camp.

No way on RoCo included. That seems an extreme price and one step forward, one step back. Plus i don't think GS wants to trade Green.

Agreed on keeping RoCo, but I'm sure the warriors with gladly swap Draymond for Simmons. Sure they'd prefer to use Wiggins, but if nobody wants him... :dunno:

then again...

(Kuminga would also go to Philly, but trade machine won't allow that yet).

PDX and GS send 1 first each to Philly.

CJ/Kuminga/2 1s seems enough compensation for Simmons.

CJ/1st for Draymond sounds fair also with GS getting Simmons.

theres no way i would give cj & roco for dray

Sorry for the confusion, I mean a combination of those pieces. Definitely not Roco and CJ. It'd be CJ and Picks or Roco/DJ/Young Players or Picks in my mind.

GSW's owner is all about contending and building for the future. He has said in multiple interviews that he wants to be the Spurs and good for 25 years. I think if GSW can replace Green with a younger and locked in contractually version of Green in their system they would definitely do it.

I like this one better
It's exactly the same as the one I posted, except mine also included (an entirely reasonable) Wiggins and Wiseman to Toronto for Siakam, and I had the W's giving up Moody as well.

To be fair we posted at the exact same time so I wasn’t plagiarizing your trade.

Not saying that at all--just commenting on the perception that one gives the W's WAY too much, and the other is better, when they're basically the same thing.

Bleacher Report Had this today.

  1. Cleveland Cavaliers Receive: Derrick Jones Jr., Nassir Little, 2022 first-round pick (top-12 protection through 2023; turns into two seconds if not conveyed), 2027 second-round pick

Portland Trail Blazers Receive: Larry Nance Jr.

close but nah, that’s giving up too much. Either a first or Nas, not both. Don’t care about the second.

Interesting trade

Nance is better than average. One of the most underrated players in the league. One pick for him is better than two picks for RoCo.
I agree about RoCo and that’s why we should stop doing it.

The RoCo trade wasn't bad. A 1st for Nance would be a steal.

I think he fits very well and should be much cheaper than other options. He is a very good role player and has shown improvement shooting the ball. He has been somewhat injury prone though, but if a 1st + DJJ are enough i would do it in a heartbeat

I would do the Nance trade DJJ and a 1st and believe me I am not big of giving up 1st round pick but in this case I would approve this trade. The only question with Nance he been injured a lot.
