Nasir for Bamba.

Project for Project.

Orlando is notorious for poor development of their youngsters.

We'll be streaming live Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday night starting around 9PM PT over on our streaming channel (Blazers Uprise Live).

We'll be streaming all 60 picks on Wednesday and the 1st day of Free Agency on Friday on our main channel (Blazers Uprise).

For anyone who's interested, we've been posting draft Profiles over on our new NBA channel (NBA Uprise).

We'll also have a website relaunch with written content here shortly!

Very good. For the first time in my life, I will miss the draft due to prior commitments made before everything was delayed/postponed. Trying to pack in as much as possible before and will have to catch up after.

@BonesJones ....I PM'd you.

Who tf would Neil be targeting in a trade up? I bet if he could have anyone in this class it’s Haliburton.

I think the only guy in this draft that would be in our rotation this season would be Obi Toppin. I actually think Toppin could beat out Zach for the starting PF spot. Obviously we would have to trade up to like number 4 but Haliburton is in that same range.

So what do you all think about the Harden trade? Headed to Brooklyn for Lavert/Dinwiddie/Allen/picks. Good trade for both teams and Harden can go back to being a secondary player which is where he's had his most success (i.e. reaching NBA Finals).

Unlikely to happen, IMO.

WTH? Lakers may be getting Dennis Schroder for the 28th pick (plus a player I guess). I have always thought this guy would be a great 3rd guard for Blazers. .534 efg% last year. Seems like very intense defender. Doesn't solve our height problems at guard, but I think we should go after him. Would only be for one year. I guess the only way to match salaries is to send Ariza. How about Ariza and next year's pick? What would people think about this year's pick? Have to see what player LA is sending I guess.

(I think it would have to be Danny Green, who also is on his last year.)

That seems like a good get for the Lakers for a very late 1st round pick.

....meanwhile, Olshey will do.....?

He could still get in there; I imagine it's OKC putting this out there, hoping to get a better bid. We keep saying we need to do something now for Lillard. Well, let's do it! Worry about next year later.

Probably hide in the closet with his phone off as usual - please make me eat my words Neal!

We can sign a legit veteran FA back up point guard.
Simons is not the answer, I can see us using him as a trade piece before season starts possibly tomorrow.

Keep hearing rumors that Oubre might be available. Is that for real and if it is do we have anything that could tempt the Suns?

Oubre is available. Portland doesn't really have a contract (not counting Nurk) that fits 1-1 with him. Would have to be more creative.

Huh TB? - Ariza fits perfectly - just add as asset (pick or player)

I think I just said that.... Portland doesn't have a contract that fits 1-on-1. (according to the NBA Trade Machine).

That seems wrong unless there is some "trade machine" issue with Ariza's being guaranteed or not? has he been guaranteed already or when is the date teams have to cut him or keep him? I believe if we cut him we only owe him 1.8 mil for 2021

Don't know...just going by what it said.

It's wrong. Arizona's $12 8M contract can be traded for Oubres $14.3M contract without anything else

Contact them and let them know.

Part of it might be his listed salary. 3 different sites have 3 different amounts ranging from 12.1 to 12.8.

No thanks. I have better things to do with my time. I am also able to figure out what works or not on my own...

Even at $12.1M the trade would work without any additional parts

If Rockets move on from Harden i think we should propose something like 16th pick+Ariza for Covington. I would easily add Simons there as well.
