Let's say a great trade offer came along for a 3 we would love. I don't care who, but assume it's good and legit. But the price is Ant.
Would you be willing to trade him?
Was just listening to Jake Fischer and he said Portland's package for Vanderbilt would be a player (he didn't name specifically) and multiple 2nd round picks but Utah is still demanding a 1st for any of their players. I'm assuming the player would either be Keon, Justise or Greg Brown. Nas would work as well, but I don't think Portland is ready to move him.
Yes and yes. I mean if Josh is still here Chauncey would probably move him down to the 2 but ideally we'll cash Josh in for some size on the bench or trade him with Nurk for a more mobile 5. So hopefully that would leave an opening for Shae to be our fifth offensive option in the starting unit but get him a whole bunch of experience while winning. I think in a starting lineup where he's the fifth best we could do both.
If I'm the Nets, I ignore Kyrie's stupid trade request. His threat is he'll leave as a UFA in the Summer. Oh yeah, where? Sign and trade or suck it, and you can wait till the Summer flat-Earth boy.

I literally cannot understand what you "just signed up" to say.Just signed up to answer thisSo man is doing 27/5/5 this season, being one of the best players in the league on 31-20 team and it does not matter, cos he is "flat Earth boy". Well done brain, well done.
Yuck, no thanks.Ant/GP2 to BRK; Dinwiddie/Powell here? View attachment 53531
"Yuck" why? Dinwiddie's better than Ant in nearly every measurable stat, and Powell (unlike GP2) actually plays in games.Yuck, no thanks.

Great convo. ThanksLMAO no.
Just, no.

At 6'5", Dinwiddie's a little bigger, a little better defensively (in my eyes), and would probably be a better fit alongside Dame.Dinwiddie is just like Simons except older. They both are undersized shooting guards in a PG’s body, can’t guard a chair and streaky as hell.
I do agree Powell would be an upgrade over any big we currently have though.

So I’m confused about standing reach. If Dinwiddie is only 2 inches taller and has a shorter wingspan, how does he have a 4 inch taller standing reach?just piggy-backing with some pre-draft combine numbers:
Dinwiddie - 6'4.4" (w/o shoes)....wingspan 6′ 8.25”....standing reach 8′ 7.00”
Simons - 6′ 2.25” (w/o shoes)....wingspan 6′ 9.25”....standing reach 8′ 3.5”
Dinwiddie weighed 22 pounds more
Dinwiddie was 21; Ant was 19

Also possible Ant didn't fully extend, so that his vertical looked better? Not likely, but have heard guys doing thatSo I’m confused about standing reach. If Dinwiddie is only 2 inches taller and has a shorter wingspan, how does he have a 4 inch taller standing reach?
You are right.I don't think they have a protected 1st round pick from New Orleans.
Since it didn't convey last year, it changed to a future 1st from the bucks, which iirc, was traded to the Pistons for Grant.
