Also even if this is true the idea of availability is not set in stone.It's a rumor by some guy I've never heard of who covers baseball. I would wait until an official announcement from the Blazers.
Right now to me this looks like The Blazers would be trying to get more people to watch. The knock most recently has been if you live outside the metro area it's very difficult to watch the Blazers. I know this because i worked on the road quite a bit. places like Albany, Eugene, Coos Bay, Bend, Hermiston, Pendleton, The Dalles were all places you had to find a way to watch.
This might cure that because root is available on pretty much all providers.
I will do the "Wait and See" approach here. I know it's been bad to this point. Cannot get much worse. Comcast is crazy expensive and their streaming doesn't help much. Th current live streaming feeds all seem choppy at times and even out right bad at others.
