I hope NBA TV used the Celtics broadcast. I'd be upset if the opponent was jacking my team's live action to show highlights and interviews.

That definitely has been a theme in blazer broadcasts in the past, and they excell in it this year.

Blazers broadcasting, please make it stop. We want to watch the game, not some random highlight or close up of someone else that is talking.

my brain has adapted to auto-mute Hamberblab segments. It's actually becoming refreshing at times to get Hamberblab stat-o-rama, Tom is the only guy that can pause Lamar Hurd's OYD (obsessive yapping disorder)

Well what is it then. Is it because he’s bald? I have yet to hear a stat he comes up with that is wrong? His positions are decent? I don’t always agree with him but he isn’t obnoxious in the way he presents his opinions.
 
My only issue with Haberstroh, is out of his control. I wish the broadcast would not go away from the game and show him while the game is going on. Split screen, put him in a small box on the bottom of the screen, but I don't want to miss game action to look at his mug.

It's worse than ever. Bring back the old Blazers Broadcasting that some people used to complain about!

As long as they don't bring back Pat Lafferty, Mike Barrett and Pete Pranica, I agree.

It doesn't matter who is in there. This place will find a way to criticize them.
You can please some of the people some of the time but....

I have not seen this? Maybe it's because I have been paying way less attention to meaningless games? Seems like they have used the split screen quite a bit?

Again my question is why? He seems to present the same types of facts and figures that we all communicate on here daily? Every position he comes up with is fairly well substantiated with solid facts and stats with a little inside info that we are not privileged to have. A couple games ago he made a comparison of the teams play with and without Scoot and at the end he gave a small hint on his return that was correct that none of us here had any evidence on.

I just don't get why this guy is hated on?

No need to hate on them. I'll just tune them out.

I watched a ton of Mike and Mike last time we sucked. I watch the opponent stream now.
 
Cuz his takes are pointless and his anecdotes are cringeworthy. He takes away from Lamar/Kevin more than he does enhance the product.

For those expecting anything other than a silver lining from broadcasting is funny.
Do some of you expect them to say, “yeah, the team sucks tonight and has been stinking it up all year?”

They are selling a product.
I think negative people enjoy hearing negative things….it justifies their behavior, opinion and stance…
But yall crazy if you think they are gonna do anything but try to paint a positive picture….

I still agree with keeping the full screen though. Stop shrinking my screen and put the stats and pictures in a small box next to the score. Stop trying to be like ESPN or something. That is the suck part for me. Stop stealing my screen size!

Sometimes the broadcast comes off as though they're dealing with a 15 second delay and don't realize it.

I was referring to whoever is in charge of the overall broadcast and whoever is in the control booth deciding which camera we see. Also, someone please spike Hurd's coffee with a tranquilizer, or just take the coffee away. Just shut the fuck up sometimes, and don't talk a mile a second. We don't need your caffeine high stream of consciousness. As far as being homers or not, I really don't care.
