Lost in the fuss over Blakeney: George King hit 5/6 three pointers and got 3 steals:

Another thing to remember about Elleby: he was the 46th pick in a draft that was supposed to be weak.

So, even after just one game, who would you sign out of summer league? Beasley I think is a no-brainer for backup SF. King showed promise as a shooter (but not as much in other areas), Faried is a bit undersized defensively. I thought our 2nd-rounders looked decent, despite their negative plus/minus

Mudiay looked decent early, followed by a lot of meh.

King and Blakeney can score. Whichever one of them can defend halfway decent would not be bad on the bench.

Watford isn't going to make much money in the G-League.

I don't know what to think about Faried.

That was one of the most dim-witted dumb-assed (alleged) crimes I've ever read about.
 
Roy Rogers post game was impressive...he talked about playing Elleby through fatigue in this game to get him to push through..I loved his whole take...my favorite....they asked how he felt about something and he said...it's not about me...ever....I'm going to love this guy with a clipboard on our staff
 
Back from Vegas, didn't make it to the Summer league game. The Pelicans, Knicks, Raptors and Clippers were at my hotel (Encore), Blazers probably there but didn't bump into them. My buddies also saw BAM, Dennis Rodman and Jason Tatum out there. NBA had a heavy presence.

Faried is a stong guy who can backup Roco a bit..he's a better defender than Beasley but Beasley is more talented all around. Faried is a friend of Nurk's from his Denver days and Chauncey's.....be a Udonis Haslem type player
