Trouba can’t be captain

The leader of this team cannot be led around by his dick by his wife. Lafreniere is the captain. The message to the vets should be you haven’t gotten it done. We’re building around him.

Right or wrong, I doubt Trouba gets the C stripped if he is still here to start the season. I also think no way does Lafreniere get the C this early in his career with all the vets we have. The obvious choice would be Kreider, but you could make the case Kreider was the obvious choice over Trouba, and they picked Trouba. So, it does make you wonder if they would give the C to Kreider.

I think it may be a moot point anyway unless Trouba gets dealt, and even then, I could see no captain for at least this season, then maybe in another year or two after he signs long term, maybe Lafreniere is given the C.
