Troy Daniels?

And scoring in the D-league means something? I remember Luke Babbit killing it in the D-league. I would rather give our high draft pick some bench minutes then giving it to someone else.

My thinking is that it never hurts to have a sharp shooter with NBA experience on the bench.

Lets not forget too quickly that San Antonio builds their team with NBA rejects who learn to play over seas and in the D-League. And they haven't done too badly in the last 10 seasons.

Who would you cut and why to add him?

Chris Johnson is averaging 22 ppg with the same team Daniels is averaging 23 ppg.

Clearly he needs to be in the NBA.

Not saying I want this guy, but if we needed to clear a space I guess we could cut Earl. Hell, I'd just hire him as an assistant.

I'll take my chances with CJ McCollum over an undrafted free agent. This thread is what I was talking about last night. Every waived player, rumored to be traded player, and now D-League player gets their own thread.

A composite Sticky to capture all potential waiver acquisition or FA signing would be nice, at the very least.

We already have too many stickies though. It's a real pain in the ass when I'm on Tapatalk and I have to scroll down a ton just to get to the actual new content.

That's a good point. So many stickies, and when I was on my iPhone last night posting, it was a pain in the ass.

Oh well, it was just a suggestion. I don't mind discussing potential acquisitions, but there have been a lot of individual threads lately. Probably best as is, but having a FA/Waiver thread would cut down on the redundancy, and keep the conversation linear throughout the season. Trade threads are a different story, and while I find most of them silly, their threads don't clutter the board as much.

That's true.....they done a great job at getting the most out of lesser talented players. I'd give lot of credit to their coach. We have a high draft prospect though. Something they rarely have. I would give CJ a chance before signing another prospect. Let CJ get some minutes in the NBA and practice with real NBA players. If he doesn't perform then maybe look at other options and move CJ to D-league for experience.

Who has proved less than any D leaguer to this point in his career

Wiggins and Parker have proved less than anY D Leaguer to this point of their careers and yet you want to break up our team to get one of them. Zing!

Unless it's someone like Asik, these threads tend to fall off the front page pretty quickly.

Tim Duncan might have zomething to do with that

The Blazers are a win now team and you want a player out of the D-League?

Yes I think that would have been a better move long term

Yes he did, and then proved it in pre season and the regular season

What D-League players with zero NBA experience have proven themselves in the NBA? You made a dumb comment. Own it.

Jesus, we are 19-4. NINETEEN. AND. FOUR. In your wettest of dreams could you have imagined that? Oh and on top of that, we have a freaking tenth overall pick waiting in the wings. A contender with a whole new talented player waiting to be played. Stop being so pessimistic.

A new talented player who hasn't shown he will provide anything, just yet.
