...yeah, the infrastructure in PR leaves a lot to be desired....they don't want to be a state, yet they are begging for our help now that they need us.
 
Not sure why a thread has to be moved with a redirect..what purpose does that serve?

Not sure why there is an outcry for it to be closed or moved...if you don't like reading and debating about something so important do the simple thing....dont read it.

Imo...i stand for the flag...but some don't.
I take my hat off....a lot dont...i softly sing the anthem...some take the time to text and take pictures...

Imo..those who kneel silently are being respectful in being silent. People have the right to their opinion and can be upset about those kneeling...but why does that detract from the actual game?

To me too many people whine about whiners. Sing louder and prouder of it bothers you.

Don't like a thread..dont read it skip over it.

As fkd up as society is today, it amazes me how it takes a damned crisis for people to act like decent human beings....

not speaking of the hurricane relief alone, ie the Vegas shootings, with plenty of people helping those injured or worse... 911 was the perfect example of people helping others...

take a look at Trumpets twitter fanatic fest, and Puerto Rico, is all that bickering really necessary; when it's precious time wasted that could be used to get something done, corrected, or directed at fixing the problem, in lieu of creating another seperate series of problems....

^^^^ she's as stunningly amazing a person as Trump, when it comes to pure ignorance, and other self interest feeding their ego's; and needs to be in a spotlight. Both seem to feed off of air time, camera time, even if it takes (another) ignorant statement, or personal bombasts of others, on Twitter or otherwise.....both belong in the same mental ward, put boxing gloves on 'em, and lock 'em in a padded cell, or Cage....

...still can't believe our only choices were Trump and Hillary...that, in itself should tell how fucked up we are as a nation.

Publicity stunt? Interesting characterization. If I'm veep I wouldn't want the optics of observing flag protests during anthem (and be extension endorsing them) just to watch a live game. He made the most logical choice for the situation.

Interesting is how Cowboys and Dolphins owners are "taking a stand" finally. Of course NFL sinking to the least favorable pro or div sport and both guys have private money in their stadiums.

So let me get this straight...Trump is responsible for World War 3 because the pussified policies of Clinton, Bush, Obama let the Norks get nukes?

Anyone who believes that civilized diplomatic speech is going to solve this problem has forgotten on how we got here in the first place. You can hate Trump all you want, but his approach sure has folks paying attention.

Oh and any notion that WW3 wasn't ever going to happen is naive. I'd prefer not in my lifetime, but Obama's reckless foreign policy and gutting the military has made the world much less safe.

ntm, numerous POTUS both GOP and Dems, on both sides of the fence have done nothing but fail with the Norks. Hell not even Eisnehower or Reagan could solve this problem, long b4 it ever occurred..... is a nuke necessary???? Me, I don't flippin' mind, but I'd rathe deploy non-nukes, ie "Rods from God", or other bunker busters, and cruise missles galore, let it rain....!

Someone has to be the (**) 'voice of reason', as often, it sure isn't me....(chuckle), but then I realize as much, usually....

Nukes have no place on this earth, an outdated and overtly disastrous weapon to even have on this Planet....
