Anyone that can't grasp the value of twitter diplomacy has officially jumped the shark and its time to retire from AOL and the internet.....just sayin'.

I really believe he does not want to be put in the mold of what a President should be.
He does not want to look presidential. He does want to be in touch with his followers.
I can't imagine the goings on in the White House. Decorum does not come to mind.
I am sure he will continue to Twitter. God help him if he does not twitter, his fan base
will revolt! Lol

...wow, yet another lame personal shot at me...spiffy. (FYI, I have not been an America OnLine subscriber for nearly 20 years now...you obviously don't know the difference between using AOL as an internet provider vs a simple imap)...if you're going to try to insult someone, at least know what you're talking about.

...FYI, I understand the value of using "Twitter Diplomacy" quite well, thank you...the issue I have is not with Twitter per se, but instead how and when Trump is using it...see the difference?

...Like I said, there are times when it's much wiser for someone to keep their intensions to themselves. Trump has exhibited on many occasions that he doesn't always think or investigate before speaking.

...not sure why you have such a problem with people speaking the truth, but that's on you...just sayin'.

Liberalism is a mental disorder, physiologically and psychologically proven. If you aren't liberal and you're offended then we call that being a fucktard. Have a nice day.

...and I am neither...and I did have a nice day.

..."Liberalism is a mental disorder, physiologically and psychologically proven." ...hmmm, lemme see, when a conservative uses his biased "opinion" to write a book disparaging conservatives, it should be taken as gospel, but conversely, when a liberal writes a book downplaying conservatives it should be totally ignored and discounted...hey, there's a novel idea...hypocritical much?

...your second statement is equally jaded and baseless, not to mention completely false, as well as offensive.

...but by all means, continue to speak in broad generalizations as well as trying to prove your point with opinion and innuendo instead of facts,

i just learned me somin the diff between a libtard and a fucktard. my day is complete.

...yup, and I learned that anyone who does not agree with every move Trump makes is by default, either a "libtard" or a "fucktard".

...fwiw, as I said earlier, the looming battle between the 3 branches of our government will be epic and far reaching, one way or the other.

include me in that category. he is gonna make some huge mistakes. so am i fucktard or a libtard? i am so confused.

...^^^ I know he's not your typical "politician" and he's pledged not to be, but he needs to realize that being President is in fact a political position...I just wish he'd start learning from his mistakes.

going to take a bit for a man like that to swallow his pride. like when obama first got elected because he was going to pull ALL the troops from the hell zone. he sat down with ol mr. bush and sent more once he got up to speed. i still laugh about that disaster.

^^^ I guess he's just so accustomed to getting his way...but now he must learn to compromise and work with the courts and other branches of government...probably hard for him to accept. He'll be given a short time because of the learning curve but then again, his honeymoon may have a short shelf life.

If it takes strong arming congress to write new laws, he's gonna win this fight and then push to make federal judges tow the constitutional line. If you understand the crowd he's playing too, this rationale makes sense.

Our population is too high anyway, shit down allnimmigration. Govt should be able to cancel, revoke or rescind all visas. These are the same terms all my visas to other countries are issued with.

...lol, you meant "shut down all immigration", right?

...anyway, Trump may very well eventually get his way on this issue but it will be quite a battle. But I do agree that we've got more than enough people already in this country. Our founding fathers originally wrote immigration language into the Constitution when the USA was a fledgling and ever expanding country...but the days of "give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses..." should no longer apply in today's version of our country. And for people to assert that "the Statue of Liberty is weeping" is a bit over the top, IMO.

...I mean, logically, how can we justify subsidizing the true unemployment rate and the number of deadbeats taking advantage of the welfare system while at the same time allowing people from other countries to enter at will and take some of the very jobs that should instead be filled by the freeloading deadbeats that are living off government cheese only because they're too sorry to work.

...if it were up to me, unless you are too old or otherwise physically unable to work, you would not be eligible for government cheese unless you were willing to do something in return for it...no, if I were POTUS and you are receiving government aid, you will not be sitting on your ass at home because I will find something for you to do,...you may not like the job I give you but you WILL work.

...But I just think Trump should/could have found a way to handle it differently.

sorry Ron, but I'm only going to consider legal sources based on strict constructionist constitutional interpretations. So anything you have that's been washed through the cnn, msnbc, reuters, ap, bloomberg, mother jones, aclu, etc etc etc progressive liberal agenda washing machine is just a non-starter for me. 2017 is in the midst of an ideological civil war and there is no neutrality.

where we really need to be focused, and i'm in full agreement with folks like Sen Mike Lee from Utah, is to recapture the power of the legislature branch so that the excutive branch no longer has all of this unchecked power. what i'm hopeful for is that once we get to a stage of pulling back all of the obama, bush, clinton, bush and even reagan executive orders, we would to have congress pass legislation (including constitutional amendment) to restrain the use of EO's by POTUS. this is going to have to coincide with significant reduction of the size of the federal govt and transition of power to the states.

that all said, id like to see follow up by congress to codify many of the EO's Trump is penning. we are way easy to doling out refugee status, visas and green cards anyway. The purpose should be to create new Americans, and not purely for giving people another place to live and work.

> National Public Radio may be the only non biased news service. They do link with BBC as well.

...and sorry, but I'm calling BS on this too;

...sounds more like damage control after the fact to me...also seems more and more like Bannon is calling the shots and running this country.

Trump followers will really regret Bannon. They did not vote for disruption. Let's see how
the working class improves in this administration. Whatever is left of the middle class will soon
be dissolved if Bannon has his way.

...^^^ pretty much the way I see things unfolding. And what we need right now is for Trump to find a way to unify this country because right now the US is as divided as it's ever been.

Trump's bs with Nordstrom's over Ivanka's Chinese women's wear line, is utter bs, nonsense for a potus to poke his nose in, where it doesn't belong. Not a potus like move, what does donald do that is potus like??? imo, there's a limit to re-setting the bar, but I don't even see a bar- not in this case, a pity to tarnish this office- by pandering with issues that are a waste of any potus time, when real issues loom...

trump's making enemies faster than he can make friends, gonna' see his list of enemies explode. At this rate he won't last long enough to think of a 2nd term....just thinking the obvious...

...I really don't know why Trump has waited till now to complain about his Daughter's clothing line being dropped considering that she was informed about it several days ago.
...in fact, as POTUS he should not even be getting involved with it at all.

I thought the same thing, when I heard the garblenews, then felt as ridiculous mentioning this.....5 or so days later.

for one who openly despises the press, he's got to get his share of headlines, even if it's shit quicksand...

Twitter will be the smoking gun "gate" of the 45th potus. Probably more a result of a man crush relationship with Putin...

^^^oddly enough, since Trump's tweet bashing of Nordstrom the company's stock has actually risen a bit.

^^^^
lol, I noticed that,... guess stockholders see a reduction in waste, with the Ivanka line, more profit, less loss...! How would Trump run his own company with a product line tanking??? He's a hypocrite alright, another gator in the swamp...

...another huge setback for Trump's immigration ban.

...but regardless, I suppose he'll still tweet more insults and pissing off the wrong people and make even more statements he cannot back up, which again does not help his case.

...We have a big mess on our hands. Even our court system it seems, is stubbornly bipartisan instead of simply doing what's best for the country. And now even if he takes this to the SC which is evenly split and is short one judge, Trump likely won't fare any better and the ruling will stand.
