...Pence was by no means innocent as far as interruptions either but that's pretty much hows debates go...and both candidates were not completely accurate in their statements...(fact checker)

...bottom line, the VP debate and its candidates won't have much of an effect, if any, on the POTUS election.


...don't get me wrong, I like Pence and if the truth be known I'd much prefer Pence over Trump, and IMO, the GOP would have a much better chance if their ticket were flip flopped.
 
Pence would've been the better GOP candidate. Hillary is so awful a more seasoned less damaged candidate would be cleaning her clock right now.
 
^^^yup...if Pence were running for POTUS he'd probably be leading Hillary by double digits right now.

...the Independents are siphoning about 10% of the vote that would possibly go to the GOP instead.

...Pence smartly did not defend Trump, mainly because Trump is indefensible ... and because as I said earlier, I think Pence may be setting himself up for 2020. If he defends Trump and Trump loses this election, Pence is toast politically.

But the point Ron is that Trump doesn't need defending. Trumpkins get him and accept him as is. Independents have a C vs T choice, both are indefensible. Anyone who defends either is exposed as a fraud.

Pence does have a chance in hell with the GOP past this year. 2020 is gonna get teed up for Rubio.

...and sorry, but the point is that Trump needs more of those "Trumpkins" if he wants to win, because what little momentum he had gained recently has now evaporated again because of his recent issues that needed "defending".

...as far as Pence/Rubio in 2020, well, opinions vary.

I think we just saw Trump make the mother of all fuck ups. All it was planned so he has to drop out and Pence runs, bringing on Carly Fuorina as veep.

Interesting they dropped this right after the Clinton emails were published that she colluded with a super PAC in violation of election law.

...the GOP as we know it is dead...so this may be a blessing in disguise.

I've come to the realization that the GOP is colluding with the DEM to try and kill off tea party and conservatives and marginalize Independents as well. The only way to explain Trump is a big govt coup to make Obama's transformation pledge reality.

...lol...I think it was Mess who implied months ago that Trump was a Clinton plant...he may be right and this whole thing was scripted.

It was Always a concern. This oppo was dropped to cover more damning Clinton emails. At this point nothing is going to move undecided to her opponent. Data is clear, Latino and women votes are killing him, he can't win. If the GOP doesn't take him out then they are complicit to let her win.

If they can't keep the Senate then we might as well join the EU.
