nonsense...there are lots of great rich people...some are my friends...it's corrupt, greedy rich people that are a problem...same with corrupt, greedy poor people...assholes don't have an exclusive club for members only....your contending we all hate the rich is just divisive....

Bullshit. How do you know any of those people in that picture are corrupt? Because VOX told you?

Give me a break. People like the rioters see success and MONEY as corruption; they don't look at possible crimes or underhand deals.

I never said they were.....if I'm not mistaken your post said we all hate the rich and want everything for free....now that's some serious bullshit...and the only VOX I listen to is a guitar amplifier

Literally no reason why I should be forced to have health insurance.
Car insurance I understand I drive daily. Last time I went to the doctor was March of 2015, can't afford the premium + copay to go see the doctor now.
I'm a pretty healthy guy even though I've had a rib dislocated for a long ass time now.
But I'm obeying the law and paying the premium to avoid the fine when I do my taxes.
Going to school, working two jobs. I'm far from a bum. Yet I'm going to have to pick between a fine when I do my taxes that could be insane..., car insurance or moving in with my grandparents to avoid rent.
Wonder which one I'll be forced to do if I want to avoid the fine when I do my taxes?
Anyone care to take a guess?

Mandatory Obamacare must die. It's about the only thing I agreed with Trump on.

Oh come on Dviss. Come on now. You're not the most open-minded person when it comes to white people; nevermind RICH white people.

Come on now man.

COME ON NOW MY ASS!! FUCK THAT!!

YOU'RE NOT GONNA SIT HERE AND CALL ME RACIST BECAUSE STEPHEN FUCKING HEMSLEY IS RAPING OUR NATION!!

People like the rioters
you know these people......? I don't think so...nor do I ....if I see 4000 people on TV and 3 are busting shit up, I don't claim 4000 people were vandalizing property, but that's just me

It's not equality but fairness....you can work 40 hours a week for minimum wage here and be below the poverty level with rent or a mortgage taking up all your expendable income...if businessmen want businesses to thrive...those workers need expendable income...pretty simple

Then earn it. My father had no college education and was arrested for cocaine posession in the late 80s. Once he got out of rehab, he worked on a production line making below minimum wage.

Since then, he's been the President of two companies, and the Vice President of another. He has a patent, and he's a 12-time Salesman of the Year and 3 time President's Club member with two companies. Just as a salesman.

He NEVER took a handout, and he was never on welfare.

He owns 3 houses and will retire a millionaire in 3 years.

Don't tell me it can't be done. When your only aspirations are McDonalds as a burger flipper, then you have only yourself to blame.

They don't work hard, nor is that the reason why their rich. Keep on believing that bullshit conservative talking point.

Wait what? You're calling someone out you don't even know? Prove they don't work hard, otherwise it's all hearsay, and YOU can continue to believe the bullshit liberal talking point.

Stop. Fucking. Blaming. Obamacare. For. The. Cost.

Just stop...

While those salaries seem bloated (consider what Dame makes for playing basketball), they aren't a significant cause of high premiums. I looked up United Healthcare and they have 200,000 employees. The company's earnings from premiums are around $32 billion a year and total income is about $41.5 billion. Payouts for medical services are $25.6 billion. Net income after other expenses, net profits are about $3 billion. The $66 mil for Hemsley is bloated, by it's a drop in the bucket overall.

So more taxes.

And how does that work out when you're healthy and rarely need the doctor?

This. I can't afford more taxes. My fucking rent just went up from $670 to $915 a month. No thanks; keep your tax hikes to yourself.

Don't tell me it can't be done. When your only aspirations are McDonalds as a burger flipper, then you have only yourself to blame.

Except these people think they should earn the same amount as the healthcare CEO...../smh

Stephen Hemsley and his rich buddies are RAPING you but blame the black guy who made it so

There are no lifetime or yearly caps on care.
Preexisting conditions are obselete.
Your kids can stay on till they're 26.
Insurance companies MUST put 85% of your premium goes toward care.
Copays for preventative care is eliminated.

Don't tell me it can't be done
you're venting at nothing....nobody told you success was impossible...you keep being divisive about social demographics but honestly...you're shouting at people that have done nothing to cause you distress....try talking about processes and solutions....not getting stuck in the problems

As a nation we would save money.

And being healthy works out great for everyone, not sure of the problem there.

No. I won't consider what Dame is making. And neither should you. You're comparing apples to cinder blocks.

It's a sliding scale...you can have several choices...we have a silver plan and if we make more money over a period of time, the rate adjusts..it's not as complicated as folks complain about...I could apply for insurance outside of the plan we have if I wanted better coverage....personally I really miss the national health insurance I had overseas.....it's expensive here..just like property tax and the cost of living but you gotta love the clean air and drinkable water

It's a sliding scale until you get to the max. For a couple that's a household adjusted gross income of around $63K. Make $1 over the max and you get zero subsidy. Our cost for a silver plan is about $1,600 a month. That's double what we paid before Obamacare, but hey, we get a "free" annual physical.

So how about a compromise?

Amend the ACA to:

-Keep your insurance if you like it.
-Keep your doctor if you like him/her
-Eliminate the requirement for insurance...OR....eliminate the tax penalty.

Perhaps there should be a deal about co-pays to where you don't pay, or your insurance company works with you, based on your income. But I'm not up to speed on that portion of it, so I'm speculating there.

The problem is, not everyone gives a fuck about being healthy so you have tons of dip shits eating cheetos and drinkin mt dew all day having to go to the doctor countless times.

What's this do to the cost of the single payer system, it bloats it the fuck up. What do they do then? Raise everyone's taxes.

We all get fucked then. And the healthy person (me/you/dviss hes svelt) gets ass-raped.

No thanks.

Nope. Repeal and replace with single payer. You will pay less. WAY less.

that sucks. You are the classic "stuck in the middle" case. That needs to get fixed.

It is expensive....I never contended that point..I make less than that on purpose now...but I own my home and am comfortable...I would not pay 1600 a month for a silver plan in that case....I'd shop around the market and get a better deal. Pretty sure you can find one cheaper than 1600 a month

The problem with this is that NOBODY is healthy. Old people have problems, young people are always getting injured, children always get sick, stressed people always eat unhealthy and are fat/out of shape....ON TOP of being stressed and depressed in the first place!

There are FAR more unhealthy people in this country than there are gym brats who keep themselves healthy.

The problem is, not everyone gives a fuck about being healthy so you have tons of dip shits eating cheetos and drinkin mt dew all day having to go to the doctor countless times.

Silly. Everyone needs healthcare. What happens when you have an accident. You step on a nail or you fall down your steps?

Why would y'all not pay a little extra in taxes to have your (you wanna complain about how high your monthly premium is) premium eliminated?

I don't understand this logic.

The logic is I do not want to have to pay more tax to pay for this dip shit.

Nope. Repeal and replace with single payer. You will pay less. WAY less.

But I would pay WAY MORE in taxes than I would to actually USE the service! I would be essentially paying for a service that I rarely use or need. I only need to see a doctor once or twice a year.

There's something wrong with that!
