Using a comparable country like Canada and their death-rate, his administration's botched response is currently responsible for over 160,000 deaths. If the US adopted the same policies that CA adopted from the start - we would have saved 100,000 Americans. I do not think we had the infrastructure for contact tracing that these countries had - so there is no way we would be able to mimic them without a lot of infrastructure work on these issues - another item that the Trump administration did not invest in. I am certain you will see a lot of investment in it once we have a competent administration, it is a shame that it will be almost a year after it should have been.
