And yet fail to bring up points you disagree with from it at all.Dude, the operative word here is previously. LOL. And, yes, I did read the article.

When the whole immigration "system" is a sham, well.....

He was claiming that legal immigrants were shitting in the streets of a town near where he lived. But if you had read the article you would have known this.
Just seems like, if you have no desire to actually discuss things, if nothing you read can change your mind on topics youre dead set on, no desire to have an actual back and forth on something, or debate a topic....then just post it on your Facebook feed. Or start a thread like sly did. A2M thoughts and musings. Then you can post your findings and we will know you have no real desire to discuss those topics. Just want to post to your feed and jam your head in the sand while pretending somewhere else you're victimized.
So you are claiming there have never been racist shows on cable? Is that your claim?Does any show necessarily have to be racist?
WOW, never saw this coming. Why do you people even engage?

Justing getting back into town from our vacation. Anyway, despite your accusations, I've read all you had posted here from the NYT. In this regard, while they talked about the "gypsies", I never did see the footnotes corroboration of Tucker's comments. Did I overlook it?
Look, the world we now live in is crazy and dangerous. When it comes to immigration issues, I'd rather the powers-that-be error on the side of safety rather than the alternative. That's not being racist, it's being prudent.
Its a kind of entertainment.
You know how when you have a small child and you tease them with stuff like "Oh, I put the remote in the fridge, could you go get it?" and they go get it?
and then come back mad because its not in there, and you then are like "oh wait, I meant the freezer, sorry"
No, you made this thread without reading the original article. You do this a lot, including your thread about dems wanting to kill babies which turned out to be bullshit. You didn't read the actual bill until being badgered into it.
So what? I posted an article that related aspects of the NYT article. I trusted the writer to be factual in what he related. Plus, the thread about the dems killing babies is not far off the mark. Now you're being a boob. Stop it.
You trusted a writer to be factual because it supports your preconceived notion. The same way that you can say the "dems killing babies" is not "far off" the mark, because that thought supports your (incorrect) preconceived notion.
yes, it is certainly ridiculous and an incorrectly preconceived notion.Fair enough, but in some ways, don't we all, at times, trust various authors, broadcasters, clergy, and such, that align with our own views? BTW, I had used the Miami Standard's vernacular, "Killing Babies" when posting that thread. Granted, the Miami Standard is not necessarily a bastion of media standards, LOL, yet it still described, and cited, the basic situation.
Sure, the term, "killing babies", would most likely be found in conservative circles..

....but it's not a rediculous, or in your terms, "incorrect preconceived notion."

You might want to invest in a dictionary.
The game lasts longer if you reverse it. Put the kid in the freezer and tell the remote to go get it.
barfo
Thanks for the great save. But, if that's all you have to say, so be it.
My comment wasn't about how you spelled ridiculous wrong, it was your failure to understand the definition of "preconceived"
Oh, OK. That might be a thesaurus, as well. But, go ahead, splain it to me.
A thesaurus gives you similar words, not the definitions of word.
Way to prove my point.
You still haven't splained it to me. Go ahead.
You have Google, look up what preconceived notions means.

I never rely on a single source. I generally read several sources on the same subject. I use facts to reach the truth. I also make sure to read the original article before I make a sound conclusion.

Strongly disagree.False. Tucker is an idiot but it definitely is not a racist show.
